- BOURNEMOUTH AIRPORT | Planespotting | Gusty Crosswind Landings and Takeoffs
Today we see an Airbus A340 land in gusting crosswind conditions and a few smokey 737 landings, plus much more at Bournemouth Airport in Dorset, England. Aircraft landing and taking off on Runway 08.
Bournemouth Airport (IATA code: BOH, ICAO code: EGHH) (previously known as Hurn Airport and Bournemouth International Airport) is one of the fastest growing airports in the UK and a key national and international gateway to Southern England. It is located 3.5 NM (6.5 km; 4.0 mi) north-northeast of Bournemouth, in southern England.
Returning to more serious plane spotting after a break of many years although I never lost my interest in aviation.
I started plane spotting over 40 years ago at Manchester Airport and occasionally at London Heathrow.

Excellent video. The quality of your videos from Bournemouth just gets better and better!
Landing airport plane 🛬🧑✈️
Great to see the crosswind landings and also the Draken Falcon 300s I so often see on my FlightRadar App !!!!...Pity my days of planespotting are over, but this is as as close as it gets for me now, thank you Simon. I always look forward to seeing your videos... I can't wait for the next one.... Roger.... Pembrokeshire UK
Great video, but do we need the music?
Love the video! The A340 is always a great sight. Where do you film the videos from? I would like to try planespotting at Bournemouth but have no idea where.
The A340s are always great to see at Bournemouth. I'd recommend visiting Bournemouth Aviation Museum, the runway is just across the road.
Thank you. I’ve heard about Bournemouth Aviation Museum but never been there.
Take off airport plane 🛬🧑✈️
I live like 10 min drive from here. Its sad the airport is mostly filled by 737-800s by Ryan air lol
