my best advice is to learn how to do bit torrents and download thousands of recent medical textbooks, free
i have more medical books on my keychain 8 GB flashdrive, than are in our entire USA medical school library
i sincere ly believe the best histo book is watching all my 96 shotgun movies
my advice for embryo is to buy the simplest and shortest book possible

hmm I know the question is not directed to me but in Histology te best text i came by is Wheater's Functional Histology and in embryology there's Langman's Medical embryology (if you're looking for details) and there's Netter's atlas of embryology (which has really cool photos and illustrations)...hope that helps :)

I prefer developing human, from Moore. It has more clinically oriented, better drawings, and more physiology stuff. Langmans only teach embriology as a tale. Its not useful.
