Gotta remember to actually set up the interface as well. I recently bought the TLM103 (lol the mic you hate) and I’m thinking just because it’s recording, everything is running fine. Then I notice a buzz in every recording, but im thinking that it’s the AC unit outside my window, but then it shuts off. Then I think it’s the computer fan, that turns off, now maybe it’s just white noise. So, I record straight from the computer’s input and the buzz is gone, completely nonexistent. It took me days to figure out that I actually had to set up the interface to the computer because it was my first time, I was used to USB mics. I was panicking thinking I was going to have to return my $1500 microphone. Anyway, AYE MANE!
I love my old condenser mic but it slowly changes the recording levels for example after it is turned on for 30 minutes it is recording on louder levels. sometimes it is louder right after it is turned on, and the db changes are pretty drastic, around 6 db (with the same gain setting on the interface of course) it is an old mic but I am really curious about the underlying technical reasons, maybe somebody in the comments wanna lmk, peace
I turned off the 48v to listen to a mix and i forgot i had it off on a next project i was working on and my mic was not working and i know ive done this before. Dont work when you barely toasty mane lol
So my mic is connected to my motherboard mic input slot. But it's not receiving signal... do I need to get a connection adapter for this... because I really want to start recording my songs I have in progress rn and this is halting it
Hey Wold you make a video on how to put time base effects on single words or parts on the audio region please? I wold like to learn how to do that instead of having my reverb into the whole Audi region with the aux track thanks you
My scarlet interface shows up as an input option on my Mac but won’t let me record my voice and I’ve done all the other steps you’ve told me Edit: my daw won’t let me record my voice

My xlr cable works with one of my mics but my new lewitt mic doesn’t work with the same xlr cable

Copy and paste the region that you want to be effected to a new track and put the effects on the new track or use automation
