You’re right Secret love song was actually for the lgbt+ community, but the management force them to make a second version of the song with Jason Derulo and make it a single. The girls fight to put the original version in the album and they did it that’s why there’s two versions, in the concerts always the girls sing SLS Pt.2 and they dedicated the song for the lgbt+ community. Personally I think the version without Jason is 1000% better.
SLS pt2 will always be superior, it tells such amazing story

Yes Secret Love Song Pt 2 is for the lgbtq+ community. They always sing this version live and dedicate it to their lgbt fans
They’ve said “I won’t” is about them persevering in their career and not giving up when they thought they were about to be dropped by their label because they had a difficult time creating a 3rd album. They worked really hard and wrote an entire different third album and their label made them scrap the entire thing because they didn’t like it.
A couple weeks ago I was listening to Pretty Girls (Britney and Iggy) and saw the song writers were the LM girls. I’ve loved the song since it came out and had no idea they wrote it...no wonder I liked it so much lol I looked it up and learned that they had it on their original album and that they threw the whole album out. It makes me wonder what that song would sound like with them singing it, as well as what the rest of that album sounds like!

As a fan of Little Mix for 6 years now, I can say Get Weird is the most "Little Mix" album they have. I mean I'm all for darkmix (Lm songs with darker tones/vibe), but these girls are literally just the weirdest and most fun people I know and it definitely shows in this album which I really love! I can just imagine them having fun and making weird faces to each other while recording it 😜 also, the ballads in this album are INSANE! Ugh this is definitely one of their best albums! 💗

I feel like in every album they have a song that they sing to each other. In DNA it’s Always Be Together, in Get Weird it’s The Beginning, in Glory Days it’s Nothing Else Matters, in LM5 it’s Told You So, in Confetti it’s My Love Won’t Let You Down, and I’m really sorry I couldn’t think of the one for Salute, but I think that that’s really sweet and really shows off their friendship
In salute you could say “nothing feels like you” even if it’s about a boy you could change some lines and there you have it
"Nothing Else Matters" is probably about a boyfriend. "Boy" from Salute is about comforting a friend, just like Told You So.

Secret Love Song ft Jason Derulo made me like Little Mix, but when I heard the Part 2, that was it, that was the moment that made me drop everything and made me stan Little Mix. 6 years now since I've been a fan and Secret Love Song never fails to give me goosebumps 💖 as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, this song is really meaningful and special to me. I will forever love the girls of Little Mix for this 💗
Secret love song part I is amazing and I especially love their performance on the graham Norton show with jason but the meaning behind part ii and the emotion they bring to every live performance is so special and emotional, I cry every time. One of the many reasons why I love these girls and their friendship and relationship with their fans. It isn't the first they wrote with us in mind, but the fact they dedicated this to LGBTQ+ community and go beyond to support them and show love is so wonderful, I tear up always ❤

I’m a friend of TroyBoi’s and having heard the original version of Lightning before it came out the original slaps even harder.
The record label really watered down a lot of the music for it to be more radio/pop friendly.
Also the live version of The End is magical!!

I honestly don't understand why Get Weird is one of the most underrated LM albums. To me, is right behind LM5, because all the ballads is this album are just a f*cking masterpiece. Also, Lightning was my least favorite song on this album and I rarely listened to it, but I don't know what clicked in my mind that someday I was listening to the song and I just fell in love with it, and that's now one of my favorites songs ever from LM
