I've not played in years and have only just re-installed the game, so I've missed all the Thargoid commotion, so I really appreciate being able to watch other people's footage. So when this thing exploded, it was in orbit above the Earth, it would be cool of Fdev if they came up with some animated news footage from ground, and what about any fallout, surely chunks of the thing must have rained down (not that it really matters, for obvious reasons) on the planet, could make for an interesting story leading to some new missions?
As a Series X player who supported the game from day 1 and spent a significant sum of money on paint jobs, ship kits and a HOTAS flight stick, this video kind of depresses me that I didn't get to be involved. I stopped playing when FD announced they were ceasing any further support for the console versions since there was nothing to work towards anymore.
@grant3933 my hotas has a significant pile of dust while I used my ps4 and now ps5 for not-elite due to lack of choice. Legacy galaxy? More like armpit of the galaxy.
You both could have have ported a save to pc and free streamed through GeForce now.....console development was dropped due to odyssey increasing the age rating via a dlc which went against console development terms of service....
I had stopped my recording a little early after the explosion, but did you hear the odd noise/signal it made afterward? I'll bet it was a signal to the other "dead" titans for what comes next.

Every time I see one of these go, I hear the end music from Return of the Jedi. So this time, I played it in the background. Those slow, final notes were playing just as I touched down on my carrier: perfect. I think I'd like to see an Anaconda Mk II; that's the third of the three most iconic ships, and they've already done the other two. Make it faster, give it armor like the Corvette and shields like the Cutter, SCO-optimized, maybe tweak the jump range a bit more, and a cool new look. The fact that it's so universally known that you can't do something like this in open is deplorable. Simply because of pusillanimous, juvenile ball-bags who think it's fun to s---t all over everything to ruin someone else's fun. And the fact that Frontier won't do anything about it. Next major change should be a way of ending non-consensual pvp.
Nice work, thank you again sir. I think I do remember seeing sparklies once before -- when the first big attempt to use a superweapon against the goids went so horribly wrong...
Got dropped out with an error, then hyperdicted coming into Sol. Arrived at the Titan just in time to be repulsed as i tried to enter the cloud. Made it for the main explosion, though. Can't wait to see what's next
Id love to have helped humanity and play this uniquely enjoyable game, but frontier made it perfectly clear that they dont want or need console player money. Fdev must be doing really well financially and have a solid roster of other titles huh....
My pc crashed 3 times as I approached the titan for the show this morning and that never happens so must have been player numbers? Got there though and it was magnificent.
I couldn't wake up to participate. Sorry i missed out, but I had been awake for almost 34 hours. Sleep was more important. Actually, I guess it was inevitable. Can't wait for my billion creds and frame shift drives.
It was lucrative while it lasted.. Still getting hyperdicted on the way into Sol though and the guardian supression field is still active a few hours later.
wow i just tried going back to Cocijo to rob a corpses hyperinterdition into Sol still a thing... and dam goids stuff me like a pig.... there pissed.. 99.5% i have escaped with no injuries. They took me right down..
yes its gone boom and o7 who made it go boom but did anyone stop to think about the caustic cloud descending into earths atmosphere. mind you makes the next step interesting
Ok so apparently the character in the cockpit doesn’t even know what the fck is going on. Such details would have been amazing if they did some on it. Tried maybe.
