Sharing Alaska's Trails

Its no secret that occasionally free-running dogs get caught in traps. Everyone (the dog owner, the trapper and especially the dog) regrets this situation. ATA has dealt with this problem in a straight-forward manner for many years. Long-time member (and former ATA President) Pete Buist developed a presentation designed to teach individuals:
(a) how to recognize if they are on a trapline trail,
(b) how to recognize the various types of traps and snares, and
(c) how to operate the traps and snares.
This training session proved so worthwhile that ATA decided to produce a video version of the presentation.
