Another great paint scheme! There's no way I'd have been brave enough to tackle that figure with colours as bright as this, but it works ! Thanks for posting!
Thanks :) Bright colors can be tough, it has to be the right kind of model for me to want to go super bright. Luckily pretty much everything in the Gloomspite range looks pretty good when you get wacky with colors.
That hobby station....... i mean i use a toolbox like that at work too (techpreist) but i never thought to use one for that. Your station is so clean an smooth and well stocked no wonder you are able to regularly perform the Emperors miracles. Nice.
haha, yeah I was looking through a harbor freight catalog and it kind of hit me. I keep all my tools and garage stuff in boxes like this, why not hobby stuff. It can be a little awkward to sit at, but I got a nice work bench stool and its been great. As far as being well stocked? only in the drawers I open on camera lol, the rest are still pretty much empty.
This boy came out really cool. Pun not intended. I promise. I would expect some to try and paint all the mushrooms on him red and cream color, but I like how you kept it more of purple or the greenish white color matching the barnacles. Great work.
im a little disappointed with the lack of color and variety with the back shrooms. he looks great and you showed off some awesome techniques but i guess i wanted a little more with the mushrooms. sorry for being a little negative, love your work and your vids.
I love the colors! :) Oh and I personally would like the playlist in the description - I have found a lot if awesome music because if you Casey, but looking out for the namens in the Video would distract me from the Rest.
Nice! I've been wanting to pick those up for a while, such a cool set of minis. I still haven't played Underworlds yet, something that needs to be remedied at some point. Those should be fun to paint, good luck!
Like the work on this one..since you seem to have gone for a subterranean look for this fellow perhaps a light transparent glow ..dank green or blue for the shroom clusters..below deck..the greyish tone lacks a little something..
As someone who loves this scheme and would like to try to replicate it. What sort of airbrush do you use to achieve this? I do not currently own one and figure I should get the one capable of doing the effect. I will also buy a cheap one to for practicing. Thanks
I used a Badger Patriot 105 for this guy, and for pretty much everything on the channel. It's a good all around airbrush and not very expensive compared to others.
Damm impressing. Those colours make it look like uv paint under a uv light. Amazing. 🤘 And it it just me, or does the face remind anyone else of a Vogon? The nose gives it away. 🤣
Amazing paint job and color choice, im a sucka for those blue-purple-pink transitions. Do you have any ork models in mind for orktober ? i hope if you do you make a video about it!
5:50 I do believe you got inspired by MarcoFrisoniNJM and that's why you started using oil washes. They look beautiful and I wish I had the money to be able to put down on it. I also like the Jem and the Holograms Vibe I'm getting from the paint scheme.
I’ve been using oil washes for quite some time now, I actually learned about them from watching Schnauzer Faced Minis, an older channel that hasn’t had new content in a while, which is a huge shame. Marco uses them to wonderful effect, better than I can that’s for sure lol. You’d be surprised at how cheap you can make them for. A little bit of white spirits and some oil will go really far. The spirits I use was $10 at an art store, and the tubes of oil I use were in a huge variety pack for something like $12? Tons of colors. My point is anyways, that for the price of a few GW paints you could have everything you need to make all sorts of oil washes :)
Hi!! Really love your videos and I just wanted to ask how do you strip a model for repainting? What products and process do you personally use and does it work for metal, plastic and resin models?? Sorry if this is in a previous video I'm a new subscriber and still working my way through your older videos!
Thanks! Welcome, and I appreciate the sub :) I actually haven't made a video on stripping models yet, it's been one of those things on the list for a really long time that I just haven't gotten too. Here's the process though: I like to use LA's Totally Awesome. It's a concentrated cleaner that really eats through paint. It works on its own, just put a mini in a jar of it with the lid closed for a few days and you will have a pretty clean model. I also recommend using a toothbrush on it periodically to get the paint up. What really takes that to the next level though is using a sonic jewelry cleaner. LA's in a sonic cleaner will speed up the process quite a bit. I can usually clean a model in under an hour that way. Of course there's the extra cost of the sonic cleaner, but there are a couple of cheap ones on amazon for around $30 that work well enough. For metal models you can go the same route, but a quicker way to get paint off of metal is isopropyl alcohol, specifically 97% and above. Anything below that and it doesn't really work. But using really strong alcohol will take paint off in minutes, and since the minis are metal there's really no chance of damaging them. Resin I've gone both ways and it works pretty much the same way. I haven't done a lot of testing with resin in strong alcohol but when you 3D print minis you have to clean them in alcohol, so it seems pretty safe. I generally opt for the sonic cleaner method though, just because the alcohol is pretty nasty smelling. I hope that helps, and hopefully someday I will actually make the video going over these methods lol
****** Hammer HANDLE Nailed it...
Man this troll troggoth is awesome and you paint it very incredibly this troll is like brother of throgg the troll king
dem colors bro. niceeeeee.
I love how I see you in every painters comment section
love the variation from the typical 'grimdark' paint schemes, looks really fun to paint and I'm inspired to try it myself!
Sometimes you just need a little color :)
this is the best painted gloomspite gitz model I've ever seen
Another great paint scheme! There's no way I'd have been brave enough to tackle that figure with colours as bright as this, but it works ! Thanks for posting!

Shocked at how well those colours work. Amazing job 👍🏻
Wow. that looks good. Totally stealing that skin tone combo for mine!

Really love the colour in this! It really makes it pop!! Beautiful contrast throughout
Thats a very cool figured. You surprised me with the mushrooms on its back, but the colors and look blew me away. 👍♥️
my most favourite wargame model....beautiful
That started with some bold colors... It did turn out bright and fun.
Damn son... thanks for rescuing such a great model. I hope Da Bad Moon shines on you

this "vapor wave" theme might be the way for my next army!
Is just me or does the mini look soo much better in the thumbnail pic ? nice colours !
Very nice! Cool transitions with all those colours for the skin.
Love the dankness in thos colours for the troggoth
Ill have to remember this vid if I ever get a troggoth for my gitz, it looks amazing!
im a little disappointed with the lack of color and variety with the back shrooms. he looks great and you showed off some awesome techniques but i guess i wanted a little more with the mushrooms. sorry for being a little negative, love your work and your vids.
I was thinking the same and the skull thats under the main mushroom? I don't think these are negative things but more constructive criticism
I love that sculpt, it’s gorgeous. And the colours you picked are great.
I need to rescue my own at some point too. It's not horrible, but I can definitely do better than what I did.
I know I have said it before, but you get better every week! I look forward to your videos every Sunday! Keep up the fantastic work!
Even still, much appreciated :)
Video editing and quality on point man, can tell you been working hard. Awesome paint job as well!
You keep impressing with your wide range of colors and techniques, love it every week! Very inspirational to try out new things myself.
Very Dana Howl-ish in the vibrancy, wow!
Very nice work 👍.
amazing paintjob man, i really start thinking of buying an airbrush when i see those results.
Thanks :) Never too late to start using an airbrush man, it's so worth the investment!
I heard about you from Luke's APS. You are highly talented. I will be back for more.
Much appreciated man, thanks for hopping over :)
Gorgeus color palette
I did a Troggoth in a similar style a few months back! Yours looks fantastic!
Great video bud! Absolutely stunning results in the end too! 😯
I think I will buy this model and paint it like you it looks so cool😱
It's a pretty great model, I'm sure you'll have fun with it :)
Thanks
Always enjoy your work but this may be my favorite thing you've done.
I love the colors! :)

I picked up Underworlds Morgoks Krushas for Orktober, looking forward to painting them bravely!

@@eBayMiniatureRescues I haven't played it either, but the sculpts are a lot of fun!
Just found your channel through this video. I think you are my doppelgänger.
I was born in 86, maybe you're my doppelgänger!? That is pretty crazy though lol. Welcome to the channel man :)
eBay Miniature Rescues I was born in 83.
Well that settles it then, I’m your doppelgänger 😆

And not to keep harassing you but are the compressors more or less just pick one or is it also important to choose correctly
Stunning man

And it it just me, or does the face remind anyone else of a Vogon? The nose gives it away. 🤣
Haha, Vogon is such a good call. Now I can’t unsee it, it’s the nose above the eyes for sure.
Looking really cool! Love these videos!

Any chance you could share the name of the song playing at 4:39? I couldn’t find its name. Great vid as always!
It looks like it’s glowing. Speaking of which, can you use glow in the dark paints for a mini in an episode?
Brilliant
Do you use varnish after using the inks? I always find that any brushwork after inks seems to make the ink layer slide and clump?
Someone needs to let Dana Howl know you are encroaching on her style! Haha jk bro...looooove these colors.

@@eBayMiniatureRescues that's awesome!! Thanks so much for the reply, some of my old models are about to get a new lease of life!!
