@@felixthefox100 im pretty sure its super worldwide at this point, i mean im from a country that most people dont know about and i still see many people in my country who likes anime... Also wow didn't know that, i thought us or uk is the one who buys the most since they always have conventions there and everything, crunchyroll, funimation, etc etc

french have been mega weebs since before anime even existed
I mean, if we could send postcards in languages besides Japanese, they would be surprised the amount of countries that anime can reach, I would send one myself, but I can't write a line of Japanese
Edit: I did send one in Japanese, took me like a week to write it down (using simple phrases and google translate), it was supposed to get there a week after Koko-chan's birthday on 2019. If it got there in once piece, they didn't read it - probably because of the simple phrases, the producer probably thought it wouldn't be funny to have it aired, besides the fact it was an international letter, and even though I tried to through a Kaguya-sama joke in my letter.

@@sind32s ah, OK, but I guess translator is useful too, not so much, at least we can try to write with translator by simple sentences
Translators usually fuck up the sentences horribly since Japanese is so differently structured than English
Their voice compare to anime is really different..

I'm also french and i'd love to also do that to bad I can't speak or write japanese yet just listen to some bits of anime
Good. I was saying give this good French boy a rank up and they gave him 7 points I'm impressed with his beautiful handwritten postcard, he must have comprehension of the Japanese language to understand the radio show and is able to get enjoyment out of listening to it live, maybe it gets subtitled into French really fast thanks to the mutual friend of the seiyuus, who knows for sure.

I am incredibly happy to see this video. Will be rooting for your friend all the way! Tbh I also have an intense urge to write a postcard to them but, given how tough it is to write a Japanese mail that could be understood, I guess I have no chance to do it.
Shinomiya's voice acting was my favorite out of every anime I've heard so far. I loved the texture of the voice
I'm curious how many others will try to send mail from overseas now? It'd be awesome to be able to send them mail to show them that there's a lot of us overseas that enjoy their radio program, but I can only write at a super basic level that wouldn't bring about much discussion. I wonder if sending mail without much text on it would be ok? Almost like that silent wave to show them all that they have a lot of fans overseas, it's just that we don't have the ability to write proficiently in Japanese.

yeah, I have a hard time remembering even basic kana... although reading kanji is somewhat easy, it would take me like 2000 rewrites before I'd be able to pen that down on a postcard..

They probably know anime is pretty big in the west as well, but I'd guess they didn't expect someone from Europe to know about their little radio show.
Probably they're more surprised, that this radio event, reached overseas. As this event is pretty obscure even in Japan.

Oml this is the first video I've seen someone from overseas getting noticed by seiyuus! Aaah if only there are more like him, I would love to see their reactions that their radio shows are getting love and attention around the world.
This isn't just the only radio that featured an overseas mail. But yeah, it's hard to get featured. The easiest way is if the seiyuu has/have an event overseas, and you write in about your thoughts for that event.
