Episode 3 of our brand-new mini-series puts Mick Garvey - famed pest controller and air rifle hunter - front and center as he looks at how the shooting range can be used to hone and improve your live quarry shooting skills.
Throughout this airgunning series, our three airgun masters - Gary Chillingworth, Mick Garvey and Neil Thorneycroft - will be sharing everything they know about their own area of airgun sport expertise, before engaging in a shooting challenge to demonstrate the key aspects of the sport and to see how their accomplices fair when taken out of their comfort zones!
Kicking off with HFT, the series also covers FT, Target Sprint and range work with a hunting focus.
Utilising the fantastic air rifle range at Brook Valley and the multitude of props available to him, Mick creates a shooting challenge course where the skill is in shooting from improvised rests and manipulating sticks in the heat of the moment to hit 50 yard targets using some tasty FAC rated air rifles.
