There is an installation tool that helps gauge that. Look up BMW injector installation tool. It's the same as the one used with N55's, N20's, N26's, etc
Although, to be honest, I usually just install them by hand, and follow the torque specs for the hold downs. Never had an issue. 🤷‍♂️
