Uri later stated he loved Jackson and felt sad that the friendship ended after recommending Bashir to Jackson. They WERE indeed friends. I believe Jackson only kept a handful of trusted friends near the end of his life. I think he lead a very difficult life not knowing who he could trust, surrounded by school range of people from manipulators to handlers to friends.

Uri Geller should have got this type of footage of Michael released for a documentary in 2003, instead of him badly advising him to be interviewed by the morally corrupt Martin Bashir. I feel the darkl periods of Michael's life in the 2000's started with Uri Geller trying to change Michael, when any true friend could have seen Michael was fine just being himself and didn't need to change for others.
