My retirement place is Iloilo.I am Iloilo ..The government is currently constructing more Esplanade, state of the art Public market and they’re trying to remove the hanging wires in the city ..Hoping next year some of these improvements will be more visible to ilonggos.
Just came from Iloilo City for a 7-day vacation. Should I decide to relocate from my current residential location (i.e., Lucena City in Quezon Province), I sure would go to Iloilo without reservation. 😀😃
I really enjoy Your videos! You always have such a great outlook on life and seem to always make the best of Your day! Love all the beautiful places You share with us.All the beautiful ladies are amazing! Scotty Boy would be jealous. lol Keep up all the great work and stay safe and healthy out there!👍
A massive thank you for your kind comment. Its a beautiful world with the right outlook. I imagine scotty get the looks even more being like 7 foot tall. I hope to continue making videos you enjoy.
I grew up in the City Proper area. We used to ride bikes around that place at night. And even swim along the port area and watch the sunset. It wasn't busy way back then. The city has changed so much in the past couple of years.
Been 8 years since I went home to Iloilo. I know every corner of this city. I love how the government and the people maintained the cleanliness of the city. Wow ! you went all the way to Fort San Pedro. It’s overlooking Guimaras. Do you know how many universities and Iloilo has from downtown to Jaro? I’m counting 10 but it’s probably more. You vlog about how many universities we have. A lot! Thank you for your nice vlog.
Thank you. There are a ton of schools there. In fact I met a doctor today in Mindanao that studied in iloilo. I agree iloilo is very clean and well maintained. 👌
There was a man sitting next to me on the little platform thing. He was very generous to offer it to me. The driver was talkative and kind too. It was definitely a VIP experience.
Hope your channel takes off. You actually provide good information and have respect for cultures. So many of these channels are the opposite of that and women especially are aware. They are not stupid. They're aware that a minority of foreigners are there to exploit them in one way or another when in reality most men are just looking for companionship and to raise someone up because men are natural providers.
City Proper is the original Iloilo. That's why every District have their own Plaza because they were seperate Municipality. Iloilo City still expanding maybe Municipal of Pavia will be the next Iloilo
And also another beautiful museum nearby, 30meters away, at the Sunburst Park - it's the Museum of Philippine Maritime History, at the newly restored Aduana bldg. Both the Museum of Philippine Economic History and the Museum of Philippine Maritime History are surrounded by parks and Spanish plazas. A third museum is the Iloilo City Gallery at the ground floor of the Iloilo City Hall.
Just guimaras so far. I will be visiting Roxas for a festival in a few weeks. I have to take public transportation, so my options are limited compared to those who have personal transportation.
I'm a kinda in-between guy.... I like convenience and like to be near a midsized cities but I don't want to live in the city.. I'm not a mall or coffee shop guy so I don't care about that much at all, maybe once a week to meet up for coffee, but I do like to walk, work on projects, hit the gym a few times a week and explore, especially offbeat places to eat and dive bars..... I love to take in local events, live music and learn about the culture of the area I'm in so a socially active place ...... I definitely don't want to live in a small village, I'll get bored pretty quickly and find somewhere else to go or trouble to get in .... Access to water and a dock/port nearby to do day or overnight trips is important.... I know TLDR ...... 😂
Definitely iloilo city. It has numerous well-maintained public parks and beautiful river esplanades that you can enjoy. It is the bike capital of the Philippines and people love their parks and clean and healthy living in iloilo. It has numerous big malls and lots of cafes but they have lots of museums as well.
