The 2022 Acura RDX looks great
I have never seen this car since it is not available here in South Africa 🇿🇦 . The center console is so unique and lovely. The key for this car very beautiful 😍.
Nice review on the RDX A spec. It looks sporty and I love the blue. Keep up the good work.
Nice review on this modestly updated RDX.
Nice video of the redesigned 2022 Acura RDX SUV!!! Great job guys!!!
Don't know how much longer you will be in Cali but you guys are the luckiest ones in LA and to be able to spend time there to do reviews. And more impressively, you made it to the west coast and didn't forget your coupons 🤣😁 I'm really hoping I can take a vacation there either next year or the year after and hope you two enjoy the rest of your stay there!
Yeah it was a ton of fun! We went home on Saturday but we're already back again right now lol
Great video! Just got mine with the advanced pkg this week. Cool channel!
I drove this as a loaner car and I can say I was very impressed by its drive especially sport mode. When you put your foot down, it goes! I just wish the digital screen between the gauges wasn’t laggy
I love my 21 RDX Aspec. Can’t wait to get this one in 23. Great video as always
If you’re getting it in 2023 then you might as well see what the new generation brings since it release in late 2023 as a 2024 model year.
Beautiful
Hopeful and inclusive video!! Nice job 👍
I have 2020 RDX Aspec i think i still like front look instead new one. But i do like the Interior being change. They change the cup holders so much better
Agreed. I have 2021 Aspec and like how the front lobster claw design looks with the rest of the grill angles. The new diagonal ovals break the flow. Although, the new front is fine.
@@varcade8 yep i like how they added advance package in Aspec i would love that. I do still like old Aspec rims. But planning sell my Acura RDX anyways.
I’m really debating between this and a GV70 w/2.5T engine
It should have a sound reading on highway speed too.
The best spec, no longer forced to choose between the the two packages. Also the apex blue pearl is the way to go IMO.
Last year's sound test was 56 DB.
Nice car
Damn that’s a beefy looking key fob
wait......wuh wuh what???????????? you were here in my home town of l.a. and you didn't do any public meet and greets!!!! LOL! please let us know the next time you're here. dudes.....would love to hang with you chaps. c'mon. your l.a. crew loves you! peace out!!!!!
Hahaha thanks! These press events are so quick and busy we usually don't have time for anything else 😢
When will the new generation come out? 2024 MY correct?
Expensive car.
I know the rdx has fog lights but I haven’t never ever turned em and my lease is up in two months. I don’t think it needs it.
How does the top of the line ELS sound system rate next to the Bang & Olufsen system in the Q5 ?
I personally prefer the ELS, at least in the base configuration set by the manufacturer without messing with the settings
Additions to an already great CUV, though the the cheap incandescent rear turn signals continue to disappoint.
@@Saturdayz_In_The_Fall Agreed, even with the Pilot and Passport, both larger and more pricey than the CR-V but they use incandescents for those as well… smh 🤦♂️.
Thanks guys! throughly enjoyed your video. They need to put in a larger screen, touch screen and a full digital dash.
I love those analog gauges. I'm not sure a full digital gauge cluster will age as well as classy analog gauges.
Holy cow it's 2022 refresh and they STILL couldn't put in LED turn signals but the CRV that debuted before this has it?.. Makes no sense
Android auto wasn't widescreen? Or it didn't have the new split screen option?
It did not take up the whole screen because Acura uses the other part for their own secondary options
The screen should b filled with Map. Remove the Android Auto icon
It looks nice, but it also looks like the size of a minivan
No cd player? 😭
First PS nice car 🚗
Hows road noise??
Well contained. We weren't on our local roads that we usually test at but it did seem quieter than last year
damn acura now your putting all these extra bells for a spec ...next gen will be touch screen i think
Doubt it. Most premium cars are moving away from touch screen because they want the screen to look clean and not smudged.
@@gankhiskhan5140 I can’t think of another brand that is doing this. Instead, most touchscreens are getting larger and brands are fine tuning responsiveness.
Why is the RDX one of the best selling vehicles, in its segment, if the Tru Touch infotainment system is so difficult to use?
Just asking…..🤣
Once you get used to the tru touchpad, it's actually easy to use. I tend to be patient when learning new technology.
Its a non issue.
Its hard to use when most reviewers see it for like a day.
But after a few weeks.. its very much natural to use.
@@gankhiskhan5140 Exactly. And any modern infotainment system can be difficult to use at first, even if a reviewer says it's easy to use.
@@gankhiskhan5140
Yes, they dont take the time.
More worried about horsepower!🤣
Some nice updates, but those center stack controls still look like they came from a 90s era boom box, and the dismal touch pad controller continues to disappoint.
No plastic skirting in wheel wells protecting fenders from stone chips and moisture protection. With sharp edges of wheel wells without plastic moulding the vehicle looks cheep and unattractive.
Requires premium, something to note.
U pay premium for performance and luxury to get higher octane for these engines if premium parts if you ain’t ready to play get a CRV
@@rahimi4762 normally takes premium fuel, just something to keep in mind dude.
Camera work for this video is not that great
When we travel to film, we have to use a lightweight tripod instead of our large and smooth one 🤷♂️
That infotainment is horrible, Acura learn from Honda Civic 2022
It's among the best in the biz. Acura learned to.male a fantastic infotainment system. Remember when Acura used to have the two screen setup years ago? That was horrible.
Only the front looks premium, others
Doesn’t feel like something that competes the German trio or Genesis
VWs desiging and even Hondas look better in and out.
Still look dated
No it isn’t. It’s still way better than the new nx. It’s faster and drives way better than the nx. The engine and transmission are far superior to the nx
So the nx is dated not the Rdx. Rdx still beats the nx in every way
@@naveenthemachine why won’t they update the infotainment and make it touchscreen? I’m totally put off by their clunky technology compared to the NX.
And steering wheel is manual adjust? Why?
@@wendylees4382 when Acura had a two screen touch you were knocking it for Lexus mouse pad smh lmao
I bought one in April and I absolutely love it!! I love Honda's and that's all I've ever purchased. I knew my next vehicle would be an Acura and I wanted a SUV. I love my RDX! I am so happy with my purchase. :)
