I just listened to the official version that just dropped and this version of the beat sounds so much better. The instrument that plays the main melody sounds better than the official one and also the birds chirping in the background really adds to the vibe.

It sounds like Metro couldn't find the instruments he used, and had to recreate the beat. I'm actually willing to bet the main piano and harp are some type of preset, and he couldn't find them and had to remake the beat. And we got some mid.

@@mikewil7571 The actual release is like a simplified version. Maybe some vocals are more clear and a bit different, but the beat is definitely not as good. The unreleased beat/instrumental is way better. I will still listen to the release version though, but I prefer the unreleased.

This one is a superior version, here’s why:
1. The instrumentals deviates from the original beat but it sounds friggin’ good. Also, the OG version beat volume is too low compared to vocals.
2. The tempo, cadence and flow is perfect compared to the OG version
3. Travis on the OG version is pathetic. Travis’s experiment of changing his voice since Utopia is failing. He sounds more dead and robotic than the AI version apparently.
Here’s where the OG version tops:
1. Future voice is better, obviously since this AI is not trained on a quality dataset
2. The ending is spooky and mysterious.
Ultimately, since we are used to hearing this version more often, it has has set a high bar even for the OG version to compete against. This is similar to “I need Answers” AI version turning out to be better than the actual version.

Many times a leaked song will drop if the artist is cool and has done it in the past, and if it’s a good song they will drop it, it’s just a matter of time.
