Is this better than chihiros slim II?
Can I put this light under a hood,with space above🤞😁
Unfortunately they are not designed for hooded tanks as the humidity will get eventually.
I'm assuming this c line is a step up from the b line?
Yes it is 😊
yes more power and the c line is aimed more towards planted aquariums. b line is more for general fish keeping
question : what did you replace the C III for? looks like another twinstar one
On the waterbox 2420 we swaped out for twinstar 600e. This light is on our oase scaper line is the new cline model.
@@HorizonAquatics May I ask why you went from the E Series to the C Series? Is there anything about the E Series you didn't like?

Does this light turn off automatically with a timer?
No unfortunately it does not turn off its self. The controllability is on the over all power.

Hi, how far this light can cover inside of a tank, it looks preety slim ?
Yes it is more aimed for entery level aquascapers with easy-medium plants. We find the 60 is the max size we would go for medium plants but larger sized units will be good with easy planted tanks
