The World Cup is a global phenomenon that billions of people tune in to every 4 years. I get where you're coming from but there is no American sport equivalent that doesn't sound patronising or ignorant.

I love your reactions and I'm glad more and more North Americans and Canadians are getting as excited about football as the rest of the world. But because you mentioned the World Cup at the beginning of your video, I wanted to get rid of the following in a non-judgmental way. This year's world cup will be less accepted by football fans around the world than previous ones because the world cup will be held in Qatar. Qatar is considered problematic because women have hardly any rights there, homosexuality gets punished, workers are exploited like slaves and more than 10,000 people died for the World Cup 2022... For these and other reasons, there is a lot of discussion about a potential boycott. I think everyone has to decide for themselves whether they think a boycott makes sense or not, but it's good to know what's going on in Qatar. To be honest Im not sure myself if I'm going to boycott the WC.

Benzema been playing for Real Madrid for like 12 years and had up & down seasons at one point I thought RM was gonna let him go cause of how he was overshadowed by Cristiano Ronaldo and not being able to play at times, but it shows how you have to keep digging till you find it. (never quit!)
