These are stunning cards. I think the wax is what Neuvo was calling their moose. They have the same texture and even the container is the same. I did find that if I put a small square of press n seal on the container before I screw the lid on, that I am not getting any dried out paint/wax when I open it 6mths to a year from purchase. I just automatically cut a square for any of the new paints with the wider openings. It truly has made a huge difference for me. I know humidity levels are so different across the states, so high humidity areas benefit even your embossing powders.
Absolutely gorgeous cards...l just bought my first 5 3d embossing folders, but can't afford the gilding flakes right now....but will keep them in my mind for later. Thanks for sharing, awesome work. 🌿🌺🌿
I love this video! Thanks for sharing. You’re very good at editing, quick and to the point. Very entertaining. Can’t wait to watch some of your other videos 🥰
Love this series of videos using the gilding polish. I have several colors and love using them. You’re absolutely right in wiping off the jar before closing the lid and washing the sponge out because if you don’t the polish will harden and ruin the sponge. I enjoy all your videos!🥰
Loved watching this video, (at least five times!)just bought a couple of these from a charity craft shop, so a must have bargain, now I'm off to have a go!! Thank you!
Impressive, PWD!! I wasn't too sure about your combination of silver, gold, & red, but the Creative Expressions folks need to give you a COMMISSION (!!) because YOUR VIDEO has prompted me to buy these!! Be well!
Gorgeous! I have several of these gilding polishes as well as the gears and a couple of other Sizzix embossing folders. I usually just use them with foiled card but I’m inspired to put the two products together. Thanks for the inspiration.
Right? But then I also wondered why she wasted time with the fussy cut, when all she needed to do was die cut with the next largest heart? That’s the beauty of nesting sizes, lol - but to each his/her own. Enjoyed this vid!
A great video with clear instructions. Beautiful cards, frame and book cover. I would love to see more videos on what you did with the other colours you purchased, as mentioned in this video. Thank you for sharing.
Your creations are stunning! I really think that makes a great guy card and they are so hard to think up and create. Will look forward to seeing more with this product!
Hi Renee! I'll link here to another video that I have done on these beautiful Gilding Polishes! Thank you for your sweet comments! th-cam.com/video/kuT1UVPiLGA/w-d-xo.html
I love the way you made beautiful cards for both men and women and they are spectacular ✨ I love the opal polish more but want some of all of them, gilding, opal, luster, and the opal blaze. I'm sure there's more but these will be awesome to have. I already have the opal polish coming 😁 oh I'm soooooo excited 😆
I just recently caught onto the many video card makers using these ATG tape guns so to speak. For those interested too like myself Amazon has them on sale for PINK only at just under 21 dollars I believe I paid this past week. It arrived 3 days ago and without looking up another video I followed the directions and had it threaded and working within a few minutes. I did have a slight glitch when I noticed the unraveling and not winding up of the protective tape but noticed really quick. So in my haste to try it out I had put back the paper insert that provides a graphic image of steps to thread it. This paper/card insert somehow caught up some of the tape and that was the issue. Again I realized quickly so corrected it and within seconds had the loose protector stuff wound properly an working right after that. I removed the insert and it had quite a bit of sticky on it so I just threw it away then. So how's it working. Well Great. I've used it on about 6 projects and that included 6 double sided 2-2.5" logo tags for a friends business I created for her dolls. I've been tweaking that project for a while now. This tape however is quick to grab and not forgiving. Which means if you need to reposition your work it's not happening. So far that's the only huge negative and would prefer one was available in 1/8" width besides the 1/4" widths. I think they make versions or adaptors for larger widths but not the smaller. If wrong tag me and let me know. Anyway the PINK one as long as it's on special is more than half off the other colors available for some reason. I may not be into pink myself but I am into savings. Stay safe everyone and I'm one dangerous person with tape in my hands...the worse and that goes for glue guns too.
Hello! Yes…the ATG tape runner can be a little bit tricky to load at first…but once you do it a few times it does get easier! I don’t believe there is a 1/8” tape available for that machine either. I have never seen one. Love your comments…have fun!😊
I have been watching several of you gilding polish videos today & have learned so much. What I’d like to know is, how did you emboss the cover of your Art Journal?
So glad your enjoying the videos! All I did for the journal cover was to do the entire embossing and gilding technique onto a piece of cardstock and then cut it down to fit my journal cover and glued it on! Hope I answered your question….if not please feel free to send me another message. Thank you so much for your comments!😊
Hello! There are some different types of waxes…the Tim Holtz Gilding wax is very fluid and when you place it in a porous or non porous surface you can heat it and it becomes very metallic as the fluid melts. I’m not so sure about the other types of wax…but I’ve been wanting to use the gilding wax…so I will try to use some of that in a future video. Thank you so much for your sweet comments!😊
Thank you for a wonderful video - your work is amazing! Furtheremore, I loved your tips & tricks on how to keep our art supply to last for the longest time. I hate to to see wasted art supplies (maybe since I live in a country where everything is so scarce or overly priced... Especially the world's most well-known brands/designers). I cherish those as if they were the most rarest diamonds in the world... 🤪🤭😍 #CrazyArtLady 🎨 My favorite obsessions are #TimHoltzProducts... Duh... and, you guessed it... die cutting, embossing (I'm interested in buying my F-I-R-S-T die cutting machine - Tim Holtz's X Sizzix "Sidekick") & then smearing 😁 some gilding wax or a bit of "neutarl" (silver/gold/cooper etc') metallic polish over... everything 😋 That's how I found your cool video 💖 !!!
Thank you so much for your sweet comments! I also cherish my art supplies!!! I love that you are planning on getting a die cutting machine....you will love it!!! Have fun!😊😊😊
Hi Barbara! I have used these both ways. I didn’t have any problems with them even if I didn’t moisten the sponge. If you find that it is not easily blending when dry....then you may want to prep them with a bit of water. Have fun!!!😊
If the polish is a bit thick or chunky then I would be sure to scrape it along the edge of the jar and also pat it onto a craft mat before you go to your cardstock. Also it is helpful to spritz the polish with a little bit of water before you put the lid back on. I hope this helps! Thank you!😊
Hi... Loved your video. As I'm buying the waxes online could you help me some insight on the golds please. There seem to be a few. What is the difference between e.g. your "rich treasure gold" and enchanted gold,.. much appreciated. Thanks so much.
Hello! Thank you for your sweet comments! The Gold Treasure is a true rich gold color and the Enchanted Gold looks a little more like a Champagne color to me. It is much lighter than the Enchanted Gold. I hope this helps! You are going to love these....have fun!!!
Hello! I am usually very light handed. Be sure to scrape the foam applicator against the jar to remove the excess and any small clumps that may be there. Just to be extra safe I usually pat the foam applicator on my glass media mat to again remove any clumps that may not have been removed. And yes...I'm layering the colors. They dry very quickly so I don't find that you are really blending the colors....rather you are adding layers of color. I hope this helps! Have fun!
Hello! Came across your video today and loved your art! I was reading to be careful not to order the gilding wax during winter months, as cold affects them. Do you have any info or experience with that? Would really love to purchase the colors in the video, but thought I should wait. Thank you in advance!
I love the 3d folders but wish they were a decent size or they did a UK size. Cards in the UK are DL (tall and slim, about 1/3 of an A4 sheet), 7 x 5" or 6x6". With these, they don't properly fit anything for us, pretty though they are.
Hello! I didn't realize that was the situation in the UK regarding the embossing folders. Sorry to hear that! I do want to let you know that Spellbinders has come out with a collection of 3D Embossing Folders that measure 5.5" x 8.5". There are many beautiful designs. I will link to one of them over at Scrapbook.com and from there you can look at the others. Here is the link for this style of embossing folder: shrsl.com/3volg Hope this helps! Thank you for your comments!
Hello! I would try taking the lid off of the jar and place it on a flat surface and then push the tab for the applicator to the side. This works best for me…hopefully it will work for you too!😊
These gilding polishes are amazing. Perfectly paired with 3D folders.
Thank you, Marcy!😊

Did you moisten the sponge applicators as recommended or did you use them dry?
Hi Barbara! I have used these both ways. I didn’t have any problems with them even if I didn’t moisten the sponge. If you find that it is not easily blending when dry....then you may want to prep them with a bit of water. Have fun!!!😊
Super, just buy them. Do you need fixier spray? Thank you for showing.
Hi Amy! You will love these! And you will not need a fixative...they dry very quickly and they are permanent! Have fun!😊
What happens when you're gilding polish is chunky but soft
