Agreed. All they used him for was the dorky one after Season 11. Totally took away his other qualities like how he used to be the inventor and scream all the time too which was funny. Now they try to make him funny by using him as a punching bag and acting dumb… there was more to him! That wasn’t the only way he was comic relief! A reason I love Skybound. It shows us more to Jay’s personality than just ‘funny’. We got to see how smart, brave, and strong he is!! From what I can tell, though, Dragon’s Rising is restoring him back out of the ‘idiot comic relief’
