Nana, I specially thank God for your life. Nana I have been your fan since 1968. I even nearly joined your band after leaving the training college in 1979. I was then a fanatically a fan of yours. Now I pride myself for following your music. There is one thing I have noticed lately, which is that your song "Kyemirekuku" was a prototype which may be you did not realized at the time. I have not read a review of your work in which the pundits have made note of how this particular song was a peculiar composition for the Highlife music genre. Your instrumentation was classically African which harmonized very well with the guitar, the tempo, and chords with the lyrics. Together it was perfect! Nana , you would agree with me that, "Kyemirekuku" instrumentation had never been repeated; not even by yourself. I listen to the song most of the time and I enjoy the composition very much. Thanks. We may not be lucky to have such a perfectly composed song, as "Kyemirekuku." When I come to Ghana, I will get in touch with your manager for some autographed discs of your classics.

Truly you deserve the Nwomtofour hene. May you live long Nana. You 'll forever remain the best. Anytime I play your song I remember my late brother Kwame Adjei your basist. May his soul rest in peace.
It is a music to eulogize a great man from his hometown/village. The name of the man was D.K. Nyarko...The song says "Let's go and see where he's dead" ..and the chorus will just say..."D.K Nyarko, let's go and see how he died".
