Unfortunately the metal goes up and down I remember when it was £60 a ton and that was between 2 people so you had to graft hard for it but there wasn’t many people at it then I’m not joking on some mornings there would be 3 appliances on each street it was all over when price goes up it’s dry 😁
I swear doing scrap ages you Drastically always getting cut having good days and bad days (pay wise) your always dirty loads of van problem and early starts always cold or wet in the winter, but it will make a man of you, I’ve gone more into rubbish removals nowadays because I get paid a set price so I know what my profit is and I’m not driving around wasting Diesel and I still get more Opportunities to buy copper, lead,brass ect without having to deal with steel and I’m more likely to find something of value, But I wish you luck it’s not for the faint of heart

Wow I get 2 to 3 a week but just take them to scrap yard been doing scrap for 30 years

Working my way through your vids - you find some great stuff - do you scrap everything or sell some of the bits on as look to good to scrap ?
To be honest I just scrap it I have sold a few bits but I hate dealing with time wasters so it's just easier to scrap it most of the time bud
