god this design looks gorgeous
The truck mode makes me think of some of the truck designs from GITS and Dominion Tank Police.
Hasbro just doesn't put as much effort into transformers as these 3rd party companies do
A Powermaster/Super Ginrai mode has been teased as the next release (After Rioter Despotron) for this figure, but there's been no solid news on it yet.
Naresh does that mean adding a trailer with more parts and accessories?

It seems you forgot to move the grey pieces at the side of his hip in vehicle form, it will lock between the cabin and the blue side

That figure looks so nice! Would love to have one...
you forgot to fold out the gas tanks, they lock against the red part of the cab, it should (I believe) help lining things up, also you can rotate the skirt pieces and slide the legs out by one click.
I've been wanting this figure ever since you put up the review Baltmatrix. I got the Thunder Erebus set last year, definitely worth it too... But today I got Striker Manus at Velsercon. JOY~! Its funny though, got good deals for both at two instances of this yearly event. XD

Great review, I have mine in my Stack at TFSource, waiting on GT Crane to arrive. A trailer would be really cool as an addition, possibly a God version of Prime along with it??
The vehicle mode with all that tech detail does not look like an Earth vehicle. It's almost as if this was designed as a Cybertronian Optimus.

An amazing looking figure
There's a version of him with at least 24 weapons and he's insane looking and only for $60 on eBay. I'm seriously considering on getting him...with the Christmas money I'll probably get.
He's worth it.
I think you missed a spot on the feet when converting him to alt. mode (the tabs on the back of his heels).
he also missed a step with the legs

you missed a step on the legs, the lower thigh slide out by one click so you have better clearance

I keep looking at those plates on his legs in vehicle mode and keep wondering if they cant be tidied up more.

Yup, sad to say. Technically, it exists, but in name only - a ton of staff were cut after the Deadpool game bombed. The guys who did the WFC/FOC games are gone.

The groves in the foot if you put it in and out enough it will be more lose and it will be more esey
About the feet, its fun to have skating
Robot mode is incredible, but the vehicle mode doesn't look all that good.

He is perfectly scaled with CHUG figures.

Well in the comic he comes with it shows him Fighting Megatron and then during the Fight the Matrix is Destroyed and it has a cataclysmic effect on Time and Space so Striker Manus has a form Change into what you see same with all other characters
a really cool optimus prime but not worth $80... maybe it if was $50

I really don't like it. The bot is weird and ackward and the vehicle is just horrible. Maybe if it didnt pretend to be optimus and the vehicle would be even more cybertronian, I would have liked it. Right now, it's just an optimus wannabe transforming into a banged up earth vehicle.
And damned expensive.
It's a third Party Optimus Prime you moron all third Party figures are based on a Transformer Character, calling him a Wannabe is just brain dead.

Reviews like Spada's run on full disclosure. If there's something he thinks people may have problems with, he'll say it.
Gxddly Out of everything he points out, the only real issue is the non-existant heels, but the figure doesn't topple, so even that seems irrelavant. "I don't like that the chest is clear and not painted."
So, to be clear, you don't want reviewers to actually talk about their aesthetic preferences? If something isn't to their taste, they should shut up about it?
What do you think reviews are for? Press releases for companies?
Robert S. They should point out things like "this joint is extremely loose" "this figure can hardly stand" "this piece broke in my hand at the first transformation", but "I don't like this shade of purple" or "why this isn't smaller" are not real problems.

only complaint I have for this figure is the gun. it's kind of lame and shitty. otherwise this figure to me is the definitive third party optimus to own that is in a doable price range. I love this guys engineering and over all design.
