That old codger with the rickety hat needs to get up early to see me! I started on the 13th of July and no sign of him at the style - I had driven up from London during the night and set off about 8:30 am though. You should have passed me as I did it at a relaxed pace of 15 days - I must have been in my tent or in the pub or something! I notice you two like your drink lol :-)
Yeah I think if we did it again we would spend more time in the Lakes! Ha well it did turn more into a pub crawl towards the end! We are uploading the last part tonight!
Watching a pile of C2C videos as I get myself mentally prepared for Sept when I walk the route. Being far more sensible and going hotel to hotel with specialist walking company. St Bees to Black Sail I'm really familiar with as I live locally so that is my stomping ground. Right on to Part 2.
Thank you! Have you planned your schedule yet? I would recommend taking your time and enjoying the views and places more than we did! We definitely rushed it making us wanting to do it again!
great first few days hoping to hike this next year : ) atb daz

Thanks for the video of the coast to coast walk. Did the walk last year and have done it 8 times now. First crossing was in 1990.
8 times! That's incredible! Well done!
