Holy smokes...strap in, its going to be a GREAT ride!!! Looking forward to the entire build buddy. Model On.
Great looking kit, and review, Paul, haven’t built much myself this year as works getting in the way. But watching these videos makes me want to get back 👍
Going to be an epic build Paul...bring it on!
Epic unboxing for an epic kit. Look forwards to watching this one. If it costs 500 and takes 100 hours to build then a fiver per hour of enjoyment is worth it in my opinion.
Cheers buddy :)
You may have already noticed, but the dashboard is also damaged (11:39). Anyway, fantastic kit and I ll continue watching the review!
I had not but have now thanks
What an amazing kit that would probably take me a year to build
I am sure you will do it justice, can't wait to see it.
*As there is so many parts i understand why your video is so long Paul, it's a so HUGE kit!!! AMAZING!*
Thanks buddy
Hey Paul , I have been working on this kit for the last two and a half years. It is an incredible kit to build . There are a few errors in the kit that if not spotted early on can cause major problems later on . I can share some images of the build with you if your interested.
Yes mate please send to the email in the video description
Wow..fantastic kit Paul.
If there is so much detail on the engine why not make a little diorama with a workbench and leave the engine open
Like someone is working on that engine.
That would be awesome!!
Looking forward to this build 👍👍
Thanks buddy
Beautiful looking kit. I share your opinion on these. I only build 1/12th and struggled to rationalise the cost, then worked out I was spending as much on a Tamiya kit, with Top Studio and Ejan extras to create a model of similar detail. I have just finished the Ferrari F2007 kerbside as my first foray into mixed media and am now struggling to decide which of my other two MFH to build (Ferrari 312 F1 -67 or Jaguar XJR -12) Bit of plastic first though!!
Thanks buddy
If i could only choose one ferrari build in my life. This would be it
Honestly in my opinion MFH kits need no review being that they are absolutely stellar, lol. Expect nothing but perfection with every single one of their kits
PK he’s crazy, he’s Nuts, oh that’s KP ! 😂
Nice kit Paul can't wait to watch this build. Another thing what primers do you use because I have used cellulose based Primer for years because it etches into styrene because I use different paint types and doesn't lift off when you remove tape. i am having an absolute nightmare with primer including the 1ltr of cellulose primer I have just purchased lifts straight off regardless of how much preparing and degreasing I do. I even bought 250mls of primer from zero paints shook it up etc even that lifted off with low tack tape.i even tried some ump primer that did the same the only one that didn't was valeo polyurethane primer but you can't spray lacquer paint over the top or wet sand it as it just beads up,I airbrush custom designs on models and do allot of masking I am at the end of my rope now been through 27 plastic spoons in the last 3 days I just can't figure it out please help anybody. Ps Halfords primer etches but that gets very expensive hence why I buy it in 1ltr tins just don't know what is going on.
Hi, I used Upol Acid Etch 8 with no issues with paint lifting. Ensure you clean any mould residue. You can get it from Halfords or Amazon. I believe this is what Paul used on his Lancia build as well.
@@petermilgate8095 hi thanks for the reply but I think acid etch is for etching metal prior to priming? Don't think it works on styrene but I may be wrong. I think I have have got to the bottom of it been told by the supplier it is cellulose based not cellulose paint it is no longer a hot primer like the other stuff no longer allowed to sell it in paint form it's the same stuff from zero paints peels right off with masking tape even after 12hrs lol. The acrylic I use is to thick a primer because I have to use thin coats when doing flames so multiple colours soon build up then 2k clear on to etc hence why I use cellulose primer as it lays down thin allot of work on a 1/25 scale vehicle oh well looks like Halfords primer decanted into a jar thanks again for your time and help..
Just a comment for the algorithm
a bigger oil cooler maybe as the 250 V12 was cooled by dry sump since 1957 in the 250 Testa Rossa
mate what an epic review....you need to grow yer hair so you got something to pull out during the build....looking forward to following that over the next 6 months
Where can we buy this kit?
Hiroboy, UpScale, Absolut, and sometimes Ebay
Classic cars with matching racing records besides being rarer got way higher value at auctions, as movie/tv show cars proved to be the original or the gadget ones
Jamie would have that built and finished in a weekend.
Oh… make sure you torque the engine parts to factory spec and nice dressing gown.
OMG - my holy of holies. Watching with my tongue hanging out.
At first I thought you had to install the spokes, one at a time. Looks too expensive.
For 4 out of the 5 wheels you do. Its only the spare that that has 4 parts that overlay each other.
The cost is quite insane, but be assured they are well worth absolutely every single penny
"head gasket, pistons, valves - the lot" wow, what the actual.....
Cool hey?
