Freewing J-10 Catastrophic Canard Failure

- Unfortunately this video ends with the Freewing J-10 having a catastrophic canard failure where the balance lead of the battery got stuck in the servo rod jamming it in place causing the plane to go down.

First of all, this was some ot the best video of RC planes that I have seen. Second, thank you for posting and sharing the cause of the crash. I will be maidening my J-10 this Monday!

Nice plane tho
Balance lead got caught between servo arm for canard. Was holding right aileron & elevator trying to keep it up. Soon as i centered the stick it pitched down & left 😂.

as far back as you can.. tail heavy makes it easier to throw the jet around..flight characteristics can be different though so be aware!
Nice flying... Too bad for the last alpha... Probably the battery was too weak and the demand of power was more than the battery could give, hence a stall to the right wing!
Battery had 48% left..

Yepp balance lead jammed up the canard servo!
@@TheValleyFlyersRC mmm that might have happened after the fact... Had so many crashes in my career and after the crash is hard to tell... But yeah... Great flight till that point! 😎😎
Airspeed is all we need once we lose it, there comes the stall!!
