Sir, please reply. A friend who is 28 years old had massive heart attack one year back. He is on blood thinners 8 times a day from then onwards. He was into heavy drinking and still drinks and has made no lifestyle changes. How much can be the longevity of such person. Can he survive all life on blood thinners? My friend is having thinner treatment from some days but not much improvement..
Does it takes time to dissolve clots or what is the further treatment
it very much depends on disease, type of thinners and how old is clot.
Further treatment can not be decided without proper information.

Recently my mother had Valve replacement plus bypass surgery in durgapur (W.B.) and doctor prescribed her acitrom due to which there are some problems such as black stool with blood, red patches on skin. Sir what should be done in this case. Please provide your hospital/clinic address.
it means, she has relatively higher tendency of thin blood. show to gastrophysician and your heart doctor. need more careful monitoring of INR

Hello sir...sir mera wife ka valve replacement hua tha 2010 me or mera wife abhi warfarin 2 din 5mg or 1 din 7.5 mg kar k leti hai...abhi pregnancy lena chati hai to Dr ne bola k jab tak conceive nehi hota hai tab tak 7.5 mg warfarin bandh kar k daily 5 mg warfarin k sath aspirin 75 mg lo... Pregnancy a jane par heparin or aspirin per shift karenge... sir warfarin k sath aspirin lena chahiye kya ? Ise koiye side effect hogi ?
le sakte hain, only side effect is bleeding sometimes.

father taking ecosprin 75/25 but he feels gastritis so one cardiologist suggested clovpitora 10. We are planning for inguinal hernia surgery next 20 days and clovpitora 10 is supposed to increase bleeding risk as I read in many research papers. Shall I start clovpitora 10 or continue with same ecospron 75/25? Kindly guide with your vast experience.
either of the two drugs increases risk of bleeding, so he needs to stop either drug few days before hernia surgery,as advised by his treating heart specialist.

Sir,my mother had her valve replacement 3yrs ago.. Now she is using a metalic valve... And taking 4mg acitrom.. There are some bruises seen in her left arm. Is it abnormal or side effects? Should I consult doctor?

But doctor has suggested to take "Lipikind" tablet(blood thiner) for lifetime.....Is it necessary to take lifetime if he has no history of any heartattack or stroke

keep a check on his cholesterol every 3-6 month, if it's normal,no need to take it for lifetime,but if it's increased, should follow doctor advice

valve ki pathology aur heart blockage ki pathology alag hain. heart blockage wale marijon ko anti platelets ki jarurat hoti hai. warfarin anti coagulant hai

Bypass ke baad wo blood thinners nahi chalte hain jinme regular PT INR karana padta hai. Bypass ke baad antiplatelet drug chalti hain aur wo leni chahiye regular.

Namaskar sir, mera 2014 mein DVR (aortic and mitral) hua tha uske baad 2017 mein mujhe TIA hua batay ki khun patla nhi tha isliye hua. Sir abhi September 2022 mein clotting ke karan attack pada our hospital mein kuch thrombosis kiya jiske bad echo karne par Dr. Ne bataya ki mitral valve stuck ho gai hai our fir se operation karwana padega our aortic valve mein leakage hai dono change karni hongi. Sir hamko operation date de di gai our ham operation ke liye admit bhi ho gaye fir thrombosis ke 15 din beet gaye the fir kafi test kiye gaye fluoroscopy, CT angiography etc. sir bad mein 4 din admit karne ke baad bola gaya ki valve ki jo leaf band thi wo khul gai hai filhal abhi operation ki jarurat nhi hai aap blood thinner lete raho our apna khoon kafi patla rakhna padega aapko ab mein 4-5 mg acitrom khati hu our ecosprin 25 mg bhi khati hu mujhe apni valve ki ab tick tick ki sound bhi nhi aati wo bol rahe hai valve covid ke karan khrab hui hai or abhi apki age kam hai change to karni padegi par abhi jitna chal sake chala lo hamko kya karna chahiye sir plz help us.
