I just loved my schedule so much. Our brain needs to rest, its important for mental health, i cant imagine myself being sane studying that many hours everyday. But if its changing for the better i'm also glad! Now i'm in college and i have classes from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm 3 days + 1 day from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Its so nice, i have time to study and relax.

In Portugal we say "1, 2, 3 macaquinho chinês" which means "1, 2, 3 chinese monkey" or "chinese little monkey" ( "macaquinho" in portuguese is a diminutive of the word "macaco" that means "monkey" in english, its just a cuter (?) way to say it i think. Interesting! I don’t know the connotation in Portuguese so I can’t make that judgement call but in English “monkey” is often used as a racist term, for someone who is not white. I’ve most commonly seen it used against Black people but also against Japanese people as well during WW2. So even if in Portuguese it doesn’t have racist origins, I’d say be careful if you ever use it around English speakers 🥲
