I don’t know how I found you, but we’re connected. I adore your choices for projects. I so relate to how you feel about some things. You’re cheerful and fearless. When I’m having one of those days up pops one of your videos. I spray paint some of my ornaments when I want a new color
I love your excitement and energy! I am so absolutely delighted at the prospect of getting a daily video from you that I'm nearly in a swoon! An...tici............pation!
I love the shops in the US at this time of the year. Downunder shops don't do Christmas as exciting. We are heading into summer, officially 1st December. Looking forward to your vlogmas😊
Vlogmas, YAY! I'm done decorating for the Festive season. I stuck with my rustic/vintage/cottage roots this year but added in copper metallics, black velvet and faux fur. I'm calling it Rustic Luxe. I set the dining table with a black table cloth and thifted cut glass pieces for sparkle. All of the elements and my color palette create this very warm and cozy vibe while still feeling relaxed and elegant. Looking forward to seeing what you do. I'm still anti-red unless it's on my porch, I have a few touches there.
How wonderfully exciting being with you shopping for your home holiday decor. May you and Scout have a blessed holiday season filled with fond memories with family, friends near or far. Hugs and love to you and your immeasurable talent. So looking forward to what lies ahead for you, us in 2025.
Lol.. loving your enthusiasm for the holidays... If you're looking for something traditional in the deep red family.... maybe consider pomegranates.... faux or real they make excellent decor in a bowl
I’m going homey, folky, DiY this year. Just want to recreate what my mom always did for her Christmas decor. She had ornaments that looked like pears, old cookie cutters hung with twine, DIY ornaments made out of old wooden toy blocks, carved wooden animals, tons of string lights. A very simple wreath with a red velvet bow. A single taper candle in every window of our house (battery operated). Always real trees, real garland, and real wreaths. Stockings filled with nuts still in the shells, chocolates, and a big orange at the bottom always in the toe of the sock. To me that feels like home and traditional
I did burgundy for years. Then I moved into my deep teal phase. The last few years I’ve been on a dark silver and gold kick. I too am wanting some red in the mix this year. Not bright red but a dark red that is not burgundy. I’m so excited!
U got this..expand on your daily life, Dear! Show us getting a ☕️ or getting Holiday grocery treats. Show us your gathered thoughts on each project…what inspired U (like for the florals/wreath U wanna create). Talk about how U fell in love w/cooking, Remember Holiday’s past, do special things w/for your dog. Show us how U wrap gifts. U got this…Ur a freakin’ Natural!!🌟🎄. -Houston, TX💘
Justin, you should check out your local Michaels. Granted, we have had Christmas out since mid October and it has been going fast. I am a Michaels TM in Cambridge, ON, Canada. Flocked balls in Burgundy if you can find them. Up here we have had three waves of flocked and now its all about done and gone.
Love the color selections! I like the plum and sage combination as well as the burgundy/sage combo. You can't go wrong with either. Looking forward to sharing the holiday with you. Remember to take care of yourself too. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Scout. :)
Can’t wait to see what that mind of yours is cooking up. I can relate to deciding what you want and then trying to find what’s in your head. That’s usually how I shop, pattern, colors, fabrics, tones, whatever. I see it in my mind’s eye and then try to find that look. Sometimes I get lucky, sometimes I don’t and adjustments have to be made. I guess that’s just part of the process but it feels so good to be able to see your plans come to fruition. Can’t wait for the next video .
Justin, very excited about seeing and listening to your Christmas ideas being put to life and also the volgmas every day starting December 1 🤞 starting on that day. Your friend in Athens Georgia 🎄🧑🎄
Love your vlogs and can’t wait to see your Christmas decorating. So excited I could just spit!! I use burgundy, cranberry and reds. Little gold too. Tartan plaids also. But then I’m from Virginia. lol!
Burgundy isn't really the theme this year. We are all about done with decor as retailers have to sell it by the end of Nov or it will sit till boxing day. Dec shifts to gift giving. Nine days left to sell decor. Flocked anything is selling this year... believe it or not, flocked browns are still a hit.... beyond me why.... early 50's here so only thing I would want to get browns would be deer or grapevine.
Do you need to shop at MassMarket stores. Around here, some smaller nurseries have a more unique assortment that match a crafters Christmas aesthetic (imo).
Honestly, it’s mainly cost-prohibitive. I find that the smaller shops (while having unique items) tend to be a bit pricier and for decor I’m going use for one month- I can’t bring myself to spend on those items. I could do more thrift shops but then obviously the selection is even more narrow than the stores I visited.
I love your videos and am excited to see your take on Christmas! I'm headed out after work to look at Michaels & HomeGoods: thanks for the inspiration!

Yeah it’s hard when you can see the vision clearly but aren’t finding the actual products in reality
@ I do this when clothes shopping too and go home empty handed way too often
How exciting! Really looking forward to it. You will pull it off right as usual.

You guys are so spoiled for choice for Christmas decor - let me tell you, we can get about 25% of what you guys can in the US.
