I saw Peter perform last Friday (10/1/10) in Ocala, Florida. He was absolutely superb. It's lovely to be able to watch the show again on this You Tube presentation. Peter allowed us to meet him after the show. I was honoured to have him ask me about the Brandon Flower's teeshirt that I was wearing. He shook my hand too..... thank you Peter. Long may you remain the great British icon that you are. Your performance made me so proud to be of British origin.
I have always loved Herman's Hermits as they were from my day when I listened to everything on my transistor radio. Had the opportunity to see Mr. Noone at a Beatle weekend in Louisville, KY. Cute as ever!
I seen him at the Park Theater in Cranston,RI. He Put on a good show. I got an autograph from him. He is Handsome. I wish I knew I could have a picture taken with him. I want to ,see him when he comes back this way again. This was on November 7,2014. Happy Late Birthday,Peter. This Is Leila Law Mayor. I Love You as a singer.
I've never seen Peter do his show, so glad this is on here... No he doesn't seem to have the voice he did as a kid, but how many middle aged rock stars do? He's a great showman, and how great to hear these classic songs Herman's Hermits songs performed by the original artist. Wonderful!
Yes. Joey Ramone owned a Hermans Hermits album in 1965 and later used the line "second verse same as the first" (from Hermans 1965 version of Henry VIII I am" in "Judy is a punk". Peter's returning the nod :)
First thing to go with a singer's voice as he ages is the upper register. Peter hasn't lost it here, but he has to anticipate and strain to hit the high ones.
The Hermans Hermits are my favorire group of all time. However, I am didappointed that Peter chooses to do songs that were made famous by other bands. There is absolutely no need for him to songs by the Searchers, Monlees, Dave Clark Five, etc. The Hetrmits have many outstanding tunes that he can add to his playlist like: I Gotta Dream On, I Can Take Or Leave Your Lovin, This Door Swings Both Ways, Don't Go Out Into The Rain, Sleepy Joe, Museum, Busy Line. PLEASE DO YOUR OWN SONGS!
Well, it was uploaded May 2009 so it had to be before that. I saw them July 16th and it was almost the same concert. But it was so good I will go see them every time they come.
I always loved Herman, and liked that he never changed his "tooph"- he had an unusual tooth.I see he has decided to look "normal" and I am so sorry. Now he looks like everybody else. Yawn.
Love the Herman's Hermits but there is something slightly ridiculous watching senior citizens trying to sing the bubble gum pop hits from 45 years ago....there is a time and a place for everything...you can never recapture the magic of the original again...
I think you're wrong. In fact some sound better. Sound systems are better than they were 45 years ago. I also think they're a little bit looser now. I don't think they did the 6 minute version of henry the eighth with the sing along. You should go to a Paul Mccartney concert someday
Not talking about the quality of the audio or how their voices have held up over the years...just saying bubble gum rockers look a bit ridiculous singing songs like "Mrs Brown" at age 70.
If you're having fun, it doesn't matter how you look. Just saw Peter Noone and his band this past weekend and he was great. And for the record, we're not all 70- I just turned 60 and look 45. I sang my head off. If you still care what other people think you look like at this age, you have other problems.
Amy Trombley Glad you had a good time Amy...I guess some of us never grow up...we stay forever locked in the only time and place that had any meaning or gave any happiness to us.

Pere still got it. From 1966 to then, He is still entertaining for a top artist who had the Beatles as not just competitors but as inspiration. :)

He was friends with the other British guys who sang and he sings their songs in tribute as they are dead now.

I thought that You Tube had a 10 minute length and 2 gigabyte file size limit per video upload???
same show we saw in connecticut, except for a song or 2
rolled a five,
Something good

This limit doesn't apply to Education accounts.
What year is this?

I liked the original group but now it is all Noone, Done with him, is there a tax write off?
