@@13salinaspride haha it's a job, the place I work at isn't the best (large franchise owned by a certain chocolate company) but the job itself isn't that bad. Finally getting close to putting in catheters and monitoring surgery.
@@13salinaspride I can recommend that you only do it if you love it because the money starting out isn't great for a lot of work. Shelter work and volunteering is a great start but it can be a bit sad over there at times.
Here's my Issue in wake of Covid 19 can you help? So, I have a Vet assistant certificate from Upstate New York 1995 and a German diploma for Blacksmithing and Horseshoeing from Munster Germany 2004. But with covid a lot of the state requirements have been waived or changed until sept. 2022. I am currently retired from horseshoeing as of 2016. 2020 and 2021 have been hit with the pandemic. The state of Texas is saying my vet assistant certificate is older than five years and wont recognize it. What about continuing education? I ask because due to covid alot has changed and changed requirements for client patient relationship. All I want to do now in retirement in its rough start is just bathe and groom dogs. easy peasy 3-4 dogs take a walk and just enjoy furry buddies in retirement and forget about covid. Any suggestions on how to get that ball rolling in light of COVID19 and all these wonky mandates? What are your issues and struggles with this pandemic within your State?
I’m not sure how you would be able to get a job here in the USA or any other country. To be a licensed tech you would have to have gone to an accredited school, here in the US and then take the VTNE.

@jonpilledsingledad that's good atleast you're employed:) I am an accountant for idaho and it pays the bills but I want to work with animals
