Impressing that you were doing all this precision flying through tight spaces and the most beautiful real estate I have ever seen :) with this motion controller! The location of your video shot is stunningly beautiful! You are living in a beautiful part of this world! Great video! Thanks for the ton of work when editing your footage! It was a joy to watch!
my lady complaint that I show the really worn out one in cam (have the good one in my studio). I told here - maybe Nic will also watch the review - and here you are, greets ;) It must be around 10yrs old now ;)
Agree - to me it's similar, the Air3 is a great drone - and with goggles and maybe the FCC mode via the dronetweaks app, it's a longrange beast. 30min flighttimes... sad tho, that the 3x Lens doesnt work (yet?) More videos on that, not now - don't have that avata2 or g3 anymore...
The pass through feature is for LINE OF SIGHT takeoffs/landings, and visual proximity awareness.👍🏾 Say you're having a conversation, drinking a water, checking your surroundings...Ya catch my drift?💯💪🙏
Fantastic video Mario. Thank you so much for your efforts in creating really comprehensive content that is informative, interesting, and entertaining. I am considering buying the Avata 2 but I just bought the Integra goggles and want to give them a good go with the 03 air unit in my Bee35 build. If I decide to buy the Avata 2 it will be in addition to my 7" and 3.5" and not "instead of". Happy flying amigo 🫡 🍻.
Hey there. You are one of the few youtubers that do decent antenna tests. how bad are the original avatar goggle x antennas? No one seems to have measured them with the equipment i know you have and made a video comparison with something like truerc or vas...
I didn't have the avata2 long enough to test antennas. But I think o4 is pretty powerful (especially in FCC mode ;). Also the G3 has built in antennas that are not easy to replace...
@@Rcschim I dont think it is a safely feature it is more because with the avata 1, if the drone was in the air and you tried to do anything with teh googles, the drone would spin wildly while you were manipulating the goggles and not paying attention to the drone.
Good vid. I have the FPV, Avata, and now the Avats 2. I will still will my FPV to keep up with you and your freinds when you do wing flights. That is of corse if I ever get the never to get on the plane! Lol 😁🤣
Has anyone flown right along the water? Do the sensors work properly to keep you from pushing down into the water like on land? I wasn't sure if the light reflections off the water would mess with the downward facing sensors
Ah - would have been a great idea to test, didn't fly over water. I'd be cautious. Also wouldnt 100% trust it over gras or trees... those sensors can always be fooled by some abnormal situations... Flying near water, low can be dangerous. A friend lost his chimera7 that way. If a lake and zero wind make zero waves/ripples - height above water can be really hard to estimate :)
especially the O4 onboard footy quality is amazing imho! and the potential to explore and use gimbal for looking up and down - almost to easy to surf treetops with it!
No, there are no special drone flying effects like you'd find in a Mini 4 or Mavic 3 in those kind of drones. You can adjust camera settings of course and take simple pictures and video in different effects. It's just not that kind of drone. It's a good drone, just different.
Yes, I'm in ce region (Austria), and it would let me choose up to 500m alt. Before the initial firmware upgrade it was even in FCC power mode, which was insane video reach.... Overall not a bad drone, dad that I couldn't fly it with the proper remote back then. But now I have a more traditional 5 inch drone again (the it's FPV era), which is nearly indestructible and do much fun, stay tuned for the review. Greets, Mario
How is the noise level compared to the original Avata? Had to sell mine cause I couldn’t torture my neighbors any longer by flying a weed wacker around the yard.
@@amay8282 @amay8282 i had no bad feelings flying it at the evening around my neighborhood. Didn't test the A1, but many confirmed that the a2 is much more silent.

Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Yes some more videos on the Air 3 and Goggles 3 would be great as I see that drone to be more useful..
Appreciate your work..

Love your work mate! Have you got your hands on the FPV Remote Controller 3? Very keen to get your thoughts on the A2 in manual mode! Cheers
Thanks, nope not really. Had to return it after a few days. Bet it's way better with normal remote!
this thing needs handles on top and bottom to be able to be grabbed out of the air mid-shot and re-released after a handheld portion
Another great flight test and sterling review.. thanks!

You do it very well and detailed.
Do you have the CE version? What about the limited max speed?

Quality of video is excellent !
You can yaw without moving forward. Just press the trigger until the first detent and then you can yaw.
yep, true - doesnt fly forward at all if you press the trigger lightly. It's a safety feature for sure.

Oh and I decreased the sharpening to stop the flickering.
What a lovely place to fly😍😍😍😍😍😍

Does the Avata 2 have “quick shots” or “master shots”?
No, just this flips and the drift mode.

1st!
unfortunately it is still way too loud and annoying!
It’s a drone? What did you expect?
yep, I've not seen a lot 3" drones that were silent :) but on the other hand, my 3.5" bee35 is way louder :)
I disagree. It is defiantly quieter. If your looking for low sounds like in the mini series, you're in for a serious disappointment.
