Also, on what basis is he making such a prediction? For that matter, how is anyone able to make predictions? India is vast ... has reliable exit polling been done?
If he is saying bjp can lose 65 seats then there are only 35 seats where might be some contest & bjp may lose 20 seats at mosttttt
They will gain those seats from bangal Orissa and south belt for sure whicht might be low possibility of loosing

If Yogendra says 250 then you can safely assume 350 seats. Wishful guesstimation. I had given AAP 100 seats in 2014 LS elections using this algorithm (had they contested in all the states, that is). Yogendra Yadav had given 200 seats to BJP in 2019 using the same algo. Looks like I learned from my mistake at least 10 years before YY.

Barkha, isn't it common sense for any seasoned journalist to ask which seats bjp will lose or win if someone makes such claim.
When someone says bjp will win 20 more seats, they mention which are those 20nseats and why. Shouldn't that be done if someone says bjp will lose 20 seats?

Low voter turnout could also mean victory margin to be narrowed down not necessarily loss of seats
Firstly turnout has not decreased significantly. Only by a percentage if you calculate average of all 4 phases till now but for modi to lose ,avg turnout has to fall back to 2004 and 2009 margins around 57 and 58% which is around 66 rn
Also as the electorate size increases by average around one lakh or less per every seat let's say, then even a drop in voting can result in more votes polled compared to previous election. This all actual votes polled in 2024 vs 2019 data will give clear picture and till now there's no significant difference
Barkha has more accurate assessment. She seems to be more honest. YoYa is making up things. My the day he is pollster then by afternoon he is a social worker by evening he becomes a politician. He is good at nothing. If he says BJP is below majority mark then be sure that it will cross 300. Worthless inputs. Barkha can predict more precisely on her own.
