DMG reduction 5 --> you get less dmg
DMG reduction negation 5--> you do more dmg (you "negate" enemy's DMG reduction 5). DMG red negation is what's called "armor penetration" or "armor shred" in a lot of other games, meanwhile DMG red is usually called as defense. But in Night Crows defense = evasion (if you get hit or not, but has no effect on obtained dmg)

@@candycaramell8645 I see, well speaking of impaler, he can inflict debuff to enemy which reduces his DMG reduction for some time, meaning that the nemey gets bigger dmg from all sources, not just the impaler
Theres a skill of spear that give debuff on himself like that dmg red -5 and even def -5
i think u can see much more effect during pvp. specially the high dmg red characters

Hi its good to test damage with a healer friend with weight over 70% so regen turns off. Then you can manually skill and check the damage without (double and critical) then you get real raw data with no random dmg bonus. Set up in a chart and do it like 95 hits then you have good info xD. But this is alot of effort

It is the only game I know that are not showing damage. Only effects like crit/dual damage/max damage/etc are being shown. There also should be wiki for monsters their stats and skills. So sad.

This test is terrible and doesn't tell us anything. Every 5th archer hit procs extra damage, weapon damage is random, crits and dual damage are also adding a random factor. There is no way for you to test this consistently. We can only assume the way it works is how every other offensive and defensive stat works in this game. It's simply 5 extra damage because it reduces damage reduction.
coz of random damage + DMG RED Nagation Very Low that why we test high lvl mob and low lvl mob - for low lvl mob u don't notice. for high lvl mob at least its improve alittle bit - like u said if we need extra 5 damage = we deal extra 80 damage from 16hit ( that can help use reduce 1 hit ).
@@IceXgame but that 80 damage can also come from lucky high weapon damage rolls and 1 or 2 crit/dual damage procs. If you record 10.000 hits without and 10.000 with negation and account for crits/dual damage and weapon damage rolls, then you can say that it increases your average damage. Until then you can't even say it gives us anything at all, but only assume because 5 damage is so small that it disappears next to the 300-400 damage coming from other sources. It's impossible to tell right now, the best you can do is to start a new account without any collection and only equipp a white bow and hit the lowest level mobs you don't one-shot and then do the same test you just did again.
normally i already test on it last month with lvl 31 mob - Just compare 2 Max Damage very Simple - in this vdo for fans req
Dmg reduction negation is proportional to basic dmg
dmg red negation is like defense i think this is like ignoring amount of damage from the enemy. corrext me if im wrong thanks :)
