Amazing review man!! Well considering the size and compactness of device, 8 hours of SOT is pretty good tbh. Get the S24+ and you'll easily get more than 10 hours of SOT. I think getting this between 65K-70K would be a good deal anything more than that seems a bit overpriced.
I think, in the conclusion section, you were a bit harsh on Exynos 2400 by mentioning that you wished processor and battery management were better. The processor is absolutely great and at par with SD 8 Gen3. I don't know which processor can beat Exynos 2400 and SD 8 Gen 3 significantly. Battery management could be optimised by software updates as and when the apps are fine tuned for Exynos 2400. Also, since it's a compact phone, it's okay to get 8+ hours. Please let me know your thoughts
Sorry, if it was confusing. If you watch the processor section and video rendering, I did express the way its performance took me by surprise. Processor has no performance issues. In conclusion I meant the Processor and battery performance as dependent relative aspects. But You are right about compactness and the compromises it comes with. However for the premium lineup Samsung could have definitely slipped in a little more juice knowing how power hungry the processor is. And trust me, with upcoming software updates, battery performance will get only worse never the contrary. If out of box in 3 weeks I am getting max 8 that too some are claiming there’s a bug that shows more SOT than we really used. I took my iPhone 15 and S24 and One Plus 11 for trek today. For same camera use they drained 10 to 15% and this by 35%
Not sure if the price of S24 with 256 GB of MYR 4,099 (USD 869) in Kuala Lumpur is worth the money, but it came bundled with free Galaxy Watch 6. The sleek design and decent performance for an average user makes me happy with the phone.
No. I have embedded the subtitles in my video. We cant upload subtitles separately on youtube. Just embed the subtitles while making the video itself. But yputube does add its own captions which are not accurate most of the times
Not for High end phones. S24 maybe the lowest in its own lineup but in mobile space its a high end phone. Also Samsung promises 27 hr video and great Stand by which is not the case. In StandBy also it consumes around 10% battery even without AOD at night.
@@camcults actually i read few reviews on reddit and few users complaining and few users happy but how long do you think battery life last if you use mainly for reading, youtube and bit of photo editing
Agreed abt your point. Like and dislike is very subjective. But I just wanted to bring the real performance as it is for viewers, without any influence or manipulation 😇 thats an advantage of us Small Scale youtubers. Even if you use only for reading and normal use, on screen time wont be more than 8 hrs. I tested bare minimum usage and same results. Worst part is the Exynos consuming the battery in StandBy even without AOD. If Samsung releases some update to improve this, i commit to make a followup video 🫡
Completely agree. Its worse than what i mentioned in my review. I personally use it as my daily driver and its not up to the mark. But unfortunately in India we dont get Snapdragon versions..
I've read from a few sources that the longer you have your s24 (at least 6 weeks), it starts performing better and the battery life becomes better, is that true has anyone experienced this?
@@camcults Do you know by how much? from the research I've done it's about 3-8% more efficient across the board but in some intensive apps there can be a 10-20% battery life difference which is staggering to say the least since (and this has been said by many people multple times), we pay the same price as those who can get their hands on the snapdragon g3 variant, and we get an inferior chipset just because we live outside of the u.s Hopefully samsung has something up there sleeves with releasing software that pushes their exynos efficiency upward, their 7 year software guarantee should help with that.

I also feel paying more than 70K not worth as other brands giving 8 Gen 3 with best display and memory for lesser price.
Got mine Samsung 1/2 price …from them direct .. $1 trade in and discounts

I am satisfied with this exynose 2400
Well done 👍 thank you for this great review
Thanks for the kind words 😇
@@camcults would love to see a "must use settings for S24" or "best optimized settings for S24" from you. Thanks in advance.
You stole my thoughts. I am already working on optimization and few must do things to save battery and enjoy the phone to the fullest. 😇
@@camcultsThat sounds awesome. I'll be looking forward to it.
Very nice bro
Nice phone s24

@@camcults thanks very much for your honest review and also did you test the battery on wifi only or cellular is well? If yes than 5g or 4g?
@amrindersingh3949 : Both Wifi and 5G. I usually turn off wifi at night so must be 5G draining some battery.
Love mine who cares re exynos SD %1 ppl care 🎉🎉🎉. Anyhow matches S23 SD if not better
Iphone 15 same price don’t have 120hz display,1 less camera, no Aod, no reverse wireless charging and may be other
But OS is yuck
Most indepth review i seen for s24. Esepcially an eye opener for ur showcase of ai features in detail which i didnt know haha. Subscribed!
Thank you
I have purchase this 65k
Good choice
Need a gaming review video
Good review! Please try photos of moving cats or dogs. It was always blurry on s23u.
Sure, I will post a dedicated camera review in a while. I also missed to cover selfie camera. Will test them all again. Thanks.
There is bug in one ui 6.1 due to which SOT is incorrect and showing more SOT than actual.
And also a comparison video of IOS and android
I'm on S24. One advice, avoid the exynos version! It's modem is ridiculously battery drainer.
Completely agree. Its worse than what i mentioned in my review. I personally use it as my daily driver and its not up to the mark. But unfortunately in India we dont get Snapdragon versions..
I will got 8 hrs SOT in medium uses I like it
Yes. Its subjective. For a premium phone at least 10 hr SOT is expected especially knowing that the screen is FhD +
Not realy if you ask old youtubers a prenium any thing above 6 hrs is great battery life is forte of midrange and lower end phones@@camcults

Not in my experience. It still struggles to get through a normal work day.
@@camcults Thanks for replying, hopefully samsung will release some updates that will help improve this, since they did make these chips!
Yes the whole problem is with the Exynos chipset. Snapdragon variants are performing far better.

iphone high end mobiles??? wut???
Great and thorough job. One of the best.
Wonderful review Savkar
my friend, is it heating more than snap 888 or gen1??
No, its little better than 888. That series was for mid range phones and exynos 2400 is a highend 10 core processor.
