Thanks so much for your time and your kind words for Diana. This performance was before the announcement of the winner. Igor basically said, these are the feelings of a 14 year old, thought maybe this song might be to mature for her, but she coped very well. Igor composed this song for Lara Fabian, believe the lyrics by someone else. During the presentation Igor donated an apartment for Diana, to allow her the opportunity to further recieve voice training until she was of age. The following year the show donated housing for all the finalists. Thanks again for your heartfelt comments, much appreciated.

The next year, she took part in the super season of this competition. Leps performed this song as a man who broke up with his beloved. Diana completely transformed this song. I’m hoping that as you continue down the Diana road to increased international recognition that you have listed her amazing one hour performance aboard a riverboat cruiseship when I believe she was 14 highlighted by her rendition of a 1920s cabaret song written by the famous composer Irving Berlin called “ Puttin On The Ritz”
where she does more than just sing. I won’t spoil it and I hope those that have watched this performance do not reveal the surprise.
I believe it was shot by a fancam and the sound quality is good.

aboard the ship.
Love your reaction and poignant comments about this performance and I finally was able to view the aftermath and you’re the only reactor that continued on after the song was finished to reveal what transpired and it brought tears of joy and yes, like yourself , I would loved to have been there and congratulated her and hugged her.

This is a damn fine song, superbly performed by Diana and was the one the viewers voted on rather than the judges, though I suspect that Diana had already comfortably won the contest with her bravura performance of Rechenka in the previous round. I think she'd have had to come out on stage and punch one of the judges to have stood any chance of losing by then. But of course she came out and absolutely nailed it anyway. The following year she came out all guns blazing with Blizzard just to announce her triumphant return, and followed it with Wicked Games and finally Human to sweep the main prize a second year running. I think all this years contestants must be breathing a huge collective sigh of relief that she won't be returning for a third year.
Thanks for your reaction to Diana. But at the end it was not her mother who hugged her, it was the vocal coach and the host of this TV project Anastasia Pak. She prepared the participants for the performances. In addition, she became one of authors of the new Diana song "la Vague" (Wave). Its audio version is on TH-cam.

Diana was born May 2003. 31 in Arsenyev in the Far East Russia. She didn't have a happy start in life. The woman, who gave her birth, had 12 pregnancies, only Diana survived... and she did not want Diana either, mistreated her severely and tried to drown her. Relatives found the girl with a broken collarbone on the street and took the 3-year-old girl to a children's home shortly thereafter. Only then did she find love ... from Irina Ponik. She worked as a massage therapist and treated children from the orphanage. Irina Ponik and her daughter Nastya fell in love with Diana and took her out of the orphanage and Irina became, as I call it, Diana's 'real mother'. Irina had two children of her own. Taking a child into the family was of course not easy for her ... but she adopted Diana at the age of 5. Diana has lived in a poor but loving family ever since. Since she was lagging in her speech development and even stuttered, she received singing lessons on the advice of a doctor.
In 2012, the family moved thousands of kilometers away, to Togliatti, because Diana did not let go of the fear, that the woman, who gave her birth, would take her away.
Diana's voice and sense of rhythm were extraordinary even as a child and she won over 50 competitions in Togliatti and the surrounding area. Her confidence grew, her voice continued to develop, and Diana's stage costumes swallowed up the family budget. So, her mother completed a sewing course and has been sewing all the clothes herself since then.
One day Diana was advised to take part in competitions further away, so that the other children also had a chance to win.
Diana convinced with her talent and her voice in numerous national and international competitions, the Chinese competition for young artists and the competition 'Talents of Wolgaland'. She is a multiple winner of the Grand Prix of all-Russian and international singing competitions.
2011 - Gold medal in the competition for young artists in China
2014 - silver vote in the all-Russian competition 'Talents of the Volga'
2016 - Grand Prix at the international 'Crystal Gift' competition
2017 - Gold Medal at the All-Russian Youth Delphic Games
2017 - Grand Prix of the Moscow Time Festival
2017 - I have a Laureate Diploma in the 'ART PREMIUMPEOPLE AWARDS'.

To the general surprise, none of the judges turned around but the whole audience gave 'standing ovation'. The next day, a huge scandal broke out on the Internet. People demanded for Diana's participation in the competition.
In 2018 and 2019, a unique international competition 'You are Super', especially for adopted and orphaned children, was launched in Moscow, which Diana won. The competition consists of several qualifying rounds. These performances were broadcast nationwide, uploaded to TH-cam and made Diana known worldwide. She now has any Millions of fans all over the world. Her russian fans chosen Diana as "National Treasure" (no official title).

In the Kremlin Palace takes place the final of the international singing competition for children 'You are super!'. The winner of the season is determined by a 6-day viewer vote, in which not only Russians, but also residents of the CIS countries take part, all viewers of the TV show. By 11 participating countries also will be selected from the finalists the names of the participants in the “Children's New Wave”, the “Junior Eurovision”. The winner of the audience award in 2018 at the “Children's New Wave” festival became Diana.
Igor Krutoi, mentor and jury member of the competition, gave her an apartment in Moscow so that she could continue her vocal training with the best teachers such as Professor Olga Donskaya (videos on TH-cam).
Diana has something mysterious, mystical in her voice. She is a dramatic contralto, the rarest contralto-type. If Dimash is the universe, then Diana is the earth, our home... and when you hear her voice, you feel like, she's wrapped you in a warm velvet blanket and serving you a cup of hot, dark chocolate.
The break of voice made her voice darker and deeper. She worked hard to get the lost high notes back and expand her vocal range. She likes to paint and draw, so much that we can be glad that she decided to sing… but have you noticed that she only holds a microphone in her right hand? But she's not just a great singer, she's also a humble young woman, who loves her family and appreciates what they sacrifice for her. She loves her fans (they are 'friends' to her) and she is grateful that they help to improve her home studio. On TH-cam she also regularly answers the many questions her friends.
2020 In her home studio, she is currently experimenting (Corona time) a lot with different music genres and performing on both large and small stages.
Diana graduated from school and in September she has become a student at the Russian Institute of Theater Arts. She will study in the specialty "Variety Artist". She also wants to learn to compose and arrange her own songs.
