This is an excellent, beautiful story, which I enjoyed so much. I was so happy for the way that life turned out for Egodi, and her son Nana, and her daughter Dima. These two children were well behaved, well brought up children who respected others; they were all so deserving of the riches bestowed on them by the spirit of the forest. Ewakwe was a terrible husband and father I was happy how his life ended. I was equally happy how Adane and Obina died, beaten to death by masquerade? Very good story; keep them coming miss Mara. There’s an actual real event that happened years back and it was about a woman who goes to the forest and changes to an Antelope when she believes she’s alone.

This story reminds me of a wicked husband and father that I know. It shows that patience, faith, endurance, kindness, manners will pay off in the long run,. Always love your children do your best for them no matter what situation arise prepare some thing for your children and I still love and and kindness in them , so they will not depart from it. This beginning is the first time I was confused about. A rich farmer and his family sit at home hungry and she couldn't sell what her husband raised on the farm at the market
It's fine if the husband wants to party with his friends
But I can't understand the village allowing this. I only seen a few minutes but will continue.
The villagers will intervene in matters that are of no concern to them,that they need not interfere with.When the actual need comes for them to intervene they simply don’t,they end up turning their backs on the most needy.
Been envious is not a good quality to have. Always appreciate what you have not been envious of what other people have.
