1. Which gear mode to be selected while waiting at traffic signal points - Gear selector lever at D (drive) or gear lever in N (neutral) position.
2. Which mode while parking the AMT car.
3. How to do it - before or after switching off the engine.

I am using Renault Triber amt car and i will try to answer your queries with my little experience:
1. In traffic for short waiting time then no need to shift gear from Drive to Neutral. In bumper to bumper traffic I use drive mode only to make use of creep mode. But in long waiting traffic time i change gear to neutral to increase clutch life.
2. I dont have park gear in my car so i put to neutral and use handbrake
3. While switching off engine i change to neutral gear, put handbrake, switch off engine
