I really wanted to like this film (my fav film is Tamasha) bt this movie was lost at 2 places.
1. Ali was not able to connect and direct the 2020 story well. It more over seemed like random events happening one after the another.
2. Sara Ali Khan - a big reason why Tamasha inspite of being a complex story became a cult was becoz of the performances. Esp ranbir. Sara Ali tried too hard bt failed, not that she is a bad actor she just needs more time to pull of such a role. Her character was very similar to ved. However ved was pulled off by Ranbir.
Hence this could have been a great story which failed to deliver
