I have been to Jamaica many times and i enjoy the videos. I don't always understand what is being said, but i try. That being said, Drizzy had so many ads on the videos at one point that the videos became unwatchable - he was almost certainly making 4 figures (USD) per month. It is heartbreaking to learn you were not being paid especially since under every video there were fans telling Drizzy to make sure you were being properly compensated.

I saw this from the get- go but if I said anything, ppl would say mih badmind. One hombre that I grew up with...I mean we broke like dawg more than half the time, more like all the time. So broke that we share the same cleats during football games. Me play one half, take them off, give it to such-man so he can play the other half. We both share a tin of mackerel, a flask of rum etc. Fast forward.... my recommendation got such-man a 1.2M dollar contract. Such-man can't read and write so I took care of the negotiations and all. I told such-man I'll just take 20% (I'm bout to migrate to the USA and ofcourse such-man didn't know) Payday Friday he collected almost 95k (He didn't know the client already felt his bad energy and told me all the money he paid out). I saw such-man that Friday, Saturday, Sunday and I still haven't received a dollar from such-man. I challenged such-man on Easter Monday and he told me he only received 30k (I didn't make him any wiser). He gave me 5k and I laughed. I reminded him of how far we're coming from and he acknowledged. Such-man then reached in his pocket and gave me 2k more. Fast forward... a few days later (I think Wednesday) the client called me to follow up and was a furious to know I only got 7k out of 95k. The client said he should've followed his mind and gave me the money directly and I told him no. If he did that, i probably wouldn't know such-man true colors. First of all, you have a good heart, that is evident in how you want to make sure everyone around you is comfortable, but inviting this bag of entourage around you at this stage in your career I dont believe is a good thing. Yes you have come far and yes you might be earning a little "butter" from the videos now, but let me tell you, this is just the start of your youtube career, that little money that you see now can dry up really really quick if things are not kept consistent and you have to be smart. I hear you say you have to spend to make, that is true, but spending on the right things, like better video equipment, video concepts, editing software....those are things that will directly improve your ability to make better videos at this stage in your career, not buying a case of beer for some man who follow you round or to buy them all food, what kinda content is that really? what does it show your viewers? That you have unity and the respect of the community? You already had that. The giving back to the community, now that was a good move, but do you really need to have 20 man following you around to do that? I saw this from the get- go but if I said anything, ppl would say mih badmind.
One hombre that I grew up with...I mean we broke like dawg more than half the time, more like all the time. So broke that we share the same cleats during football games. Me play one half, take them off, give it to such-man so he can play the other half. We both share a tin of mackerel, a flask of rum etc. Fast forward.... my recommendation got such-man a 1.2M dollar contract. Such-man can't read and write so I took care of the negotiations and all. I told such-man I'll just take 20% (I'm bout to migrate to the USA and ofcourse such-man didn't know) Payday Friday he collected almost 95k (He didn't know the client already felt his bad energy and told me all the money he paid out). I saw such-man that Friday, Saturday, Sunday and I still haven't received a dollar from such-man. I challenged such-man on Easter Monday and he told me he only received 30k (I didn't make him any wiser). He gave me 5k and I laughed. I reminded him of how far we're coming from and he acknowledged. Such-man then reached in his pocket and gave me 2k more.
Fast forward... a few days later (I think Wednesday) the client called me to follow up and was a furious to know I only got 7k out of 95k. The client said he should've followed his mind and gave me the money directly and I told him no. If he did that, i probably wouldn't know such-man true colors. The client terminated the contract and such-man was back at ground zero. Im now in the US and such-man seh mih rich and switch. Laughter for me.

Cat as a subscriber I want to put in my 2 cents into what i hear is happening between you and Drizzy. First of all, you have a good heart, that is evident in how you want to make sure everyone around you is comfortable, but inviting this bag of entourage around you at this stage in your career I dont believe is a good thing. Yes you have come far and yes you might be earning a little "butter" from the videos now, but let me tell you, this is just the start of your youtube career, that little money that you see now can dry up really really quick if things are not kept consistent and you have to be smart.
I hear you say you have to spend to make, that is true, but spending on the right things, like better video equipment, video concepts, editing software....those are things that will directly improve your ability to make better videos at this stage in your career, not buying a case of beer for some man who follow you round or to buy them all food, what kinda content is that really? what does it show your viewers? That you have unity and the respect of the community? You already had that. The giving back to the community, now that was a good move, but do you really need to have 20 man following you around to do that?
And im not saying that you cant do something for people here and there, but to me it seems like you trying to rush into it and also its a sign that you dont know how to manage your money properly. You suppose to know this, nuff Jamaican man would just take and take and take until you have nothing more to give, not even for yourself and you own family, nuff man out there have very little conscience and move like parasite when is another man pocket. In relation to Drizzy robbing you, I hope that is not the case, but due to their being no written contract between you and him it will just be his word and against yours. And I not sure where you get that information from in relation to that 90%/10% split, cause wasn't it Drizzys channel the vidoes were uploaded on and didnt he do the recording and editing? I dont know im just asking. And in the absence of there being a written agreement or some oral agreement on who should get what i dont see how a 50/50 split is unethical, if you think you should get more then moving onward you arrange that with Drizzy and you agree on it. But to say he was robbing you, I dont know if I buy that one. But big up yourself none the less and wish you all the success.
