you are right! I have MSM and essentially a paraplegic, but I am losing sensation motor function in my hands so that bra would definitely not work. I have found bras with magnets in the front and that works OK but I really need help with those as well. And wouldn’t it be nice to put on a bra without needing help?
Great points. I obviously don’t have much experience with adaptive wear, but it’s obvious that if someone doesn’t have the use of their fingers, using bra hooks to open/close bras or underwear wouldn’t be helpful. I applaud SKIMS for attempting adaptive wear, but definitely needs work. Also, didn’t realize you had surgery already. Happy healing and continued good luck. Love you! I have ordered multiple glasses form Zenni online, too. Easy and super afforadabke. In my opinion, much more selection than Warby Parker, but they don’t do the at-home try on for multiple pairs. (They do, however, have an online tool so you can virtually try on glasses. I always see my optician yearly and typically buy one pair of glasses through them, but like a backup pair. I do the same thing for Nicholas and it allows us options in an affordable way. Anyway… Happy New Year! Love you!
Apptive clothing is good for thouse with chronic pain to the point that ot affects ablity move limbs and thouse with conditions that affect fine motor sikls such as autism and dyspraxia. I agree that the bra hook fasening is not acessable pop studs, magnets and zips are better options for addptive clothing.
