All the hardware can be bought at Home Depot. The bulbs came from Alzo lighting and the foamcore came from amazon. You may want to look into the LED shop lights they sell at Home Depot. For $50ish bucks. They're a pretty nice daylight source. Be well! Check out the www.digitalfilmfarm.com for more tutorials and keep the questions coming!

I love some of the light fixtures in home Depot! 😂 But what about low cri issues / poor skin tone?

This is awesome! Thanks! You just like my brother, Andy who has his own film / animation studio outside of Berlin, Germany and he always, always, always builds his gear when he can for a tenth of the cost. Thanks again. If I cannot spot used Kenos on eBay, I will build my own.

I get the whole idea of cheaper concept, but I'm ready to spend a little more than $67. How about attaching Black Corrugated Plastic Board to keep the light from bouncing around the studio. And maybe some bright LED's ? It would have been nice to see the rest of the construction. I'm sure we can figure out the rest on our own. And once again, Thank You!

When you said that the lights were 18 percent more powerful, 18 Percent more powerful than what?
Kino's? Really? Also, How many Lumens is this setup kicking out?
Would LED's be better, worse or about the same with this set up?
And Great Video! Very instructive and inspiring!

Hi, where did you buy the parts? I am particularly interested in the light fixture. Thanks.
