    • @kiabtoomlauj6249
      @kiabtoomlauj6249 ปีที่แล้ว +58

      He will. Because even though he won the first time, by the time the referee stopped the fight, due to Gaethje's concussion, Dustin was literally wobbling, since both legs were gone. If Dustin wasn't as elite as he was/is with his accurate boxing, Gaethje's powerful leg kicks would have won him the fight, even if nothing else happened to Dustin from the waist up...

    • @worldview6218
      @worldview6218 ปีที่แล้ว +41

      Yeah and gaethje in his camp needs to work on actually setting up his leg kicks lol, because spamming leg kicks isn’t going to win you a fight against Poirier unless you literally amputate one of his legs because Poirier was just butchering gaethje with counters everytime gaethje started blasting leg kicks with no setup and that’s how Poirier ended up firing off that shot that put gaethje on skates before the finishing sequence

      @@bigvsouthphilly2156 bro miss everyone with that bs. Dustin has fought nothing but absolute killers in both fw and lw since his early 20s. Meanwhile colby last solid win was years ago, and it was a lw in rda. He ducked burns before burns was 36 years old, and while burns called him out for years after Colby beat up an old Maia…he ducked Edwards for years, and he spent the past 2 years nursing a fake brain injury as an excuse to duck Chimaev and belal and sit on the sidelines and now all of a sudden after the champion who beat him twice was dethroned by a guy he ducked, and Dustin who is in a Div full of big name draws and fighting in his own Div refused to let himself be used by Colby as an excuse to continue ducking top wws who aren’t old men or dinosaurs now Colby wants to come out of the woodwork with a single win over a washed up retired masvidal and another win years ago against a washed up 40 year old woodley and get his now 3rd title shot in his past 5 fights against the guy in Edwards who’s name he refused to utter for years…but it’s Dustin who’s the coward right? Dustin hasn’t had an easy fight in the lw div or in his past 12 fights…khabib, gaethje, Alvarez, hooker, Pettis, Charles olivera, chandler, mcgregor twice, max Holloway for the second time, and yet when you compare that resume and the guys he’s fought Colby’s only decent recent win was a lw in rda, the rest have been washed up old dinosaurs well past their prime. Damn Dustin needs to go to Utah 2 weeks before the fight MINIMUM. I'd take this as seriously as possible if I were him, 2-3 weeks would set him up to be in optimal condition against a guy like Gaethe at altitude for 5 grueling rounds

      True, and I hope after this they’ll make the BMF belt more catch weight through 170 and 155.
      So other fighters like Gilbert Burns and Kevin Holland could make It In and fight Dustin or Justin to defend the belt afterwards for It afterwards.
      Although some may say Its be too big of a mismatch for some fighters In both weight classes, but hey I’m down for anything.

    There should be a BMF event every single year. Would have been more fun if both Dustin and Gaethje talked trash and went crazy during interviews and the buildups, but it is what it is...

    • @TheRulersBack18
      @TheRulersBack18 ปีที่แล้ว

      the bmf event every year is the proper idea IMO. idgaf about the trash talking, i just want the fights. the bmf thing is tough bc like what was the ufc gonna do, have masvidal defend it fighting other guys? put it on the line in every fight he's in? but the idea of doing a bmf event every year is great IMO. every time you're mad that you see something like cory sandhagen vs chito vera, and chito loses bc he's not the smarter fighter and sandhagen (intelligently) avoids fighting head-on, we can get something like chito vera vs song yadong or something.
      it's also tough bc i don't think you want guys fighting for it who are in actual title contention, but there are plenty of really fun fighters who go out there and fight hard that you'd like to see fight each other and deserve to have the spotlight on them
