How lucky are we to have the privilege of watching Maya play every game whether it's on cptv or if you are blessed like me to go to most of the home games! Connecticut is blessed for having such an awesome player!
Before the BIG EAST was dismantled smh. I remember following this UConn squad back then. They were incredible and so much fun to watch. I can't believe it's been 8 YEARS already. Time really does fly. Wow
Maya or Diana i would say Diana Maya has to work her way to be up there with Diana however if Maya continues to work hard she will be better then Diana that's 4sho lol
I cant say thats really Maya's fault she plays on a very good team that is blowing people out. They don't play close games so we really don't get to see what Maya's made of. Taurasi made big shots and carried her team to 3 championships. Maya's not on Taurasi's level yet and in people's eyes untill Maya wins 3 championships like Taurasi Maya will kinda alwasy be in her shadow.I agree Maya's an all around more talented player and i expect Maya to be one of the best ever tp play the game!

That is very true and people do over look that about her. I say the reason Uconn is so good is because of Maya. I have to disagree with you there. Don't get me wrong i love Maya she's my favorite player but she can't touch Diana. You have watched Maya but do you watch Diana? I will admit Maya is more athletic and naturally gifted but that doesn't make her better. Maya and Taurasi are Like Lebron James and Kobe Bryant Lebron is more athletic and naturally gifted but Kobe is still the better player. Kobe and Taurasi have that killer instinct that i just don't see in Maya yet! but im sure its coming.
