Having lived in Britain for all of my adult life and as someone who uses very high level English, I find myself correcting even natives in their speech. However, Shashi Tharoor’s English is just on another planet. This man expresses himself so utterly beautifully and furnishes his audience with such exquisite and previously obscure vocabulary that one can listen to him speak for hours on end devoid of any hint of tediousness. This man should be giving lessons to native English speakers on how to master the language!
