A tremendously wealthy man is killed aboard his own luxury yacht. The investigators believe the only possible culprit is his personal assistant. But the local physician who also happens to be the P.A.'s friend since childhood believes him innocent and tries to aid the unfortunate man.

I got hooked on CBS Radio Mystery Theater back in the 70's. They relaxed me so much that I would fall asleep always before the ending! now I can listen all the way!

This was excellently written and acted. I actually think it is better than many of the Arthur Conan Doyle stories, although I know Sherlock Holmes fans would be annoyed to hear me say that! I listened to it multiple times and each time found something new to consider. As a writer of radio theater (and actor) I find that it has helped me to polish my own craft. Thanks to Percy Granger for the intriguing script. I wonder why E.G. Marshall never mentioned the author of the play...
