Treat it like a bicycle tire. Put what you can on first, then with either “spoons” or flat head screwdriver, start working it around the steering wheel. Was really easy actually.

Listen this is the trick, stick one or two feet in through the wheel cover and pin it down and pull hard as you can with your hands like you're stretching a rubber band. I did this a few times all around and it was easier. It's cold so I didn't really have much hear from the sun so I used this method. Hope this helps

I used no lube - Place top half on ( same as in vid up to applying the lube tho ) then you wanna reach under the steering wheel cover grabbing the furthest away from you with your "middle" finger ( both hands 8 o'clock - 4 o'clock postion ) then pull down with a little force and should pop on no dramas.

Alright so I have short acrylics and I was able to slide on my furry wheel cover by placing the bottom part first and holding it with my knees while and sliding on the top by opening it towards the steering wheel and pushing and sliding it on forward away from me 👍 took like 5 minutes

I have a Ford F-150 2011 model and I got a steering wheel cover from a friend. I'm new to this so I'm not sure if it will fit. I've been trying for hours to put it on and I've finally given up. On the inside of the cover it says 38/8.2 if that helps any.
    Thanks in advance!

Thx for the vid. I'll try it with lube if I can't do it without. Have you ever tried using a larger size steering wheel cover as an easier way of doing it?

Something that helped me is turning it all the way inside out to stretch it out a little bit and then it went on decently smooth.

Thank you. I just did it. Without lube. And yes it was hard 😂
