Ireland is much better in all aspects compared to the UK.Firstly Ireland pays way better not only for nurses but also for all professionals .No council tax , no water charge in Ireland.Rate of crime is very low here compared to the UK .I think the average salary for a nurse in the UK is around £1800 after tax but in Ireland it is around € 2800-3000 even a nurse with 3 to 4 years experience.A nurse with 12 years or more earns over € 4000 and if we add weekend allowance, night duty allowance and bank holidays, it is very high.So I thank Ireland is the best destination in Europe.
