Hey man there’s a difference between the old covenant and the new covenant. Your talking about the ceremonially law. You have to realize that we’re not in the new covenant anymore. We’re in the new covenant. The new commandment Jesus gave was love the lord your God with all your heart all your soul all your mind and all your strength and love your neighbor as yourself. So it’s not a sin to eat meat. “In the sheet were all sorts of animals, reptiles, and birds. Then a voice said to him, “Get up, Peter; kill and eat them.””

You’re allowed to eat meat that command in the Old Testament was ceremonial law for only the nation of Israel. As Christians we use the moral law to show people there desperate need for a savior because of the price of sin. “The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our lord” God bless you brother hope this answers your question.

I needed to read your comment to scrape myself up off the floor. Think God has been working with me awhile on sin eradication, and I am being constantly shown new ways I am sinning without even recognizing such. I have also wondered about John 12:25 anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life, if God is teaching me to hate this life and how the sinful world assists sinning or makes it easier to sin, by and through Satan and his demons, help to keep sins enticements in our face so that we are hard pressed to avoid it or get away from it. Seems it being always in my face has become more common. Which is why he had a weak battery or no battery when wanting to film this, then no sound. Satan was putting hurdles in front of your presentaiton. Think I will go watch it again as this means it was very important.

Joe, you are a blessing... I was saved at the age of 67....I am now 73.....that is a LOT of sin to be convicted of each day...a LOT! The Lord gives me a bit at a time to recall and repent.... I literally CRINGE with total disgust of who I was and what I did to grieve Him....and I “thought “ I was a “good” person...BUT, God is good and His mercy endures forever! My encouragement for all here is to stay the course...the narrow path that leads us home ( because THIS place is not our home )! We are saved by what Jesus did for us on the cross... repent daily because you love Him! Repentance brings you ever closer to Him! I love this verse ... Psalm 139:23 “ Search me , O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting. “

You don't have to recall your past sin to repent My chance. When you received Christ as your Lord and Saviour, your sin was washed away (past, present and future! !) You're now living under the amazing grace of God. You are justified in Christ Amen. Sanctification lasts the rest of your life and the Holy Ghost will be with you every step of the way Praise God indeed.

I am so excited when someone has found Jesus and accept Him in their hearts and in their lives as the Son of the living God. The problem that occurs many times in this world today is the fact that so many teachers/preachers are not spreading the whole truth and that will cause the new believer to fail in his attempt to be on the narrow path to the Kingdom of God. The Bible teaches us that we must love God and our neighbor. Many people interpret this as that warm feeling that you have inside you towards God and your neighbor. If you are one of these, then you may be on the wrong path. Love means to obey, obey God's Commandments. God has give mankind only Ten Commandments. When you keep the first four Commandments, you show your love towards God and when you obey the last six Commandments, you display your love towards your neighbors. The one Commandment that is being ignored mostly around the whole world is the keeping of the real Sabbath, Saturday. Now, many teacher/preacher will tell you the Commandments were for the Jewish nation, but in reality, the Commandments were given to mankind in total. The first Sabbath in creation was even kept by Adam and Eve. Mankind now thinks that it is not important but Jesus Himself showed man that the Commandments could be kept and it is not difficult. He also said that if we love God, we will keep the Commandments. Paul also said that the Commandments need to be kept until the coming of Jesus Christ. So, my dear friend, if you have not done what I have explained above, then it is still not too late to change. Just one last thing, the keeping of the Commandments must not be a burden to you, but is has to be because you want to, to show your love and obedience to God Almighty.
Such a miracle to be saved later in life . Amen and amen . The lord rejoices when we his children are saved . Do not beat yourself up. Your past sins are now forgiven by the Lord . Move forward and know we will see him in heaven

Some preachers are so harsh that they make Christians doubt their salvation, while putting their own "righteousness" on display, and that makes me sad. It's rare to find a preacher who is genuine and "one of us", while pointing out our need for Christ above all, the way you do.

I'm 56 and I am so sorry and regretful of my past. The grief I feel over the things I've done in my past is almost unbearable. If I could go back and fix it I surely would. But I can't. Only God can deal with these things. I know he has forgiven me, but I can't seem to forgive myself. God has always been with me I feel, but I seldom paid Him mind when I was younger. I feel great sorrow. Not for me, but for those I have hurt and for the hurt I've caused my Lord. I hope a younger person might think twice before being sinful and self centered. You can't take back what's been done. These are things you'll live with for the rest of your life. Please find God as soon as possible.

If we can't forgive ourselves we think God's forgiveness isn't enough. I think when the Word says we must forgive others so we can be forgiven it applies to ourselves.Matthew 6:14 I truly hope by now you have found true forgiveness and freedom in Christ

When I hear things like what you have just said, It always startles me.
A born again beliver will not just wake up one morning and start going back to his former life of sin, no, it starts through small compromises.
How have you been living lately? Are you in the Word? Are you in prayer? Are you in Church community? Are you killing sin? Or letting the seemingly harmless "small" sins stay around? Are you abiding in Christ? For He says "He who loves me will obey my commands" and Romans 6 says "you are no longer slaves to sin that you obey its lusts and desires, you are DEAD to sin, sin has no power over you"
So gird up your loins, and persevere in obeying God, in putting to death the flesh, in killing sin, in hating what is evil, and loving what is good. Fight the good fight of faith, and endure the race, lest you be disqualified. God's grace is enough.

Yes I am seeing signs everywhere plus the Lord told me the storm is coming but do not be afraid in acts 25 yesterday, Sailors that listened to Paul and didn’t ignore God warning were saved. The hour is getting late I think. I have constant cobweb feeling around my hands like electricity. We even seen a ball of light when I was praying over my son, the other night. Good Morning Joe, I am 28, not a youth BUT this message touched me and had me in tears, I have been rebellious and the Lord warned me twice years ago and I did not listen. I have a little girl now who I pray for daily that she will not taste the death sin brings and the hardship it carries. I've spent the majority of my life in fear. Afraid I'm not good enough to get into Heaven even though I know that Jesus died for me. Scared that my stinking thoughts keep me in bondage and struggles. Scared that even though I still sin and fall I don't want habitual sin like bitterness and resentment to kill my soul. I don't want to love this world more than Heaven. The struggle is real. I hate my humanness. I don't wanna be lukewarm. Spent 40+ years in the Catholic church with guilt and fear and shame and condemnation.

Any advice on how to be a disciplined believer.
I needed this. I pray daily that God erases the repercussions of what my youthful sin has caused, the scars in my mind and soul. I have repented and am forgiven, but sin in the past has warped my mind. Daily though, God's grace is sufficient, and the Holy Spirit helps me overcome. Young people, listen and do stop indulging in sin. It's never worth it. But, our Lord and Savior is eternally worth it.
Good message. Sometimes difficult topics have to spoken aloud. So many pastors preach only happy, feel good messages.
This is a dreadful mistake.
Pastors are teachers and MUST point out where society is going very wrong. It's their duty.

This is my favorite video of yours; it gives me hope. I'm 54 and I pray to the Lord every single day; and watch sermons. For the last 7 yrs I've had major depression. I believe in the name of Jesus that the Lord will help me again because He's helped me before.

It's been months since this was posted, yet I came across it today . Jesus knew how much I needed to hear this . I am struggling to understand why someone I love so very much has returned to sin, that he has left behind for so long . I under now, he never repented. I recently had a horrible demonic possession and I know that's what it was because I was feeling so depressed and I listened to the devil and without eating or anything I just started drinking and drinking and drinking and then from there I don't remember anything and I destroyed my whole boyfriend's house everything the drywall I broke every piece of glass in his house I beat my head over and over and over again into glass and I had a massive black eye that I did to myself and I don't remember anything please Lord deliver me from these Gastly sins I'm nothing but an empty broken vessel but the more I discover you the better I feel and I know 100% I trust in you with all of my heart and I'm sorry I'm such a sinner and such a bad person 😭... Please Lord Jesus help me with my cptsd and help me with my anger I know I'm still at work in progress and I know I'm not evil I have empathy towards everybody else myself and I know that's horrible because God loves me just like he loves everybody else and I'm offending him my hating myself but God has already made so many blessings in my life I'm grateful for the good and I'm grateful for the bad to because there's a lesson to be learned in everything that he does for you

God does discipline his children. Sometimes he has to spank us back into line, or correct some mistruth we hold, or steer us in a direction. But I appreciate every single one. I fear them don’t get me wrong. When I get a sniff of anything smelling like a trial or discipline event I start listening hard. I’m all about avoiding when I can. But every spanking I ever got made the power of temptation have less power over me. Soon temptation lost all its power. That is an amazing moment that happened on my journey. Don’t get me wrong I fear the pebbles in the road but I can now at least see the pot holes and who wants to fall in one of those? Especially if there’s a spanking because I ignored the shout saying stop!

I get this. But I don’t think God calls us to worry. Just repent and ask God to give the grace to repent. If it’s an addiction, get help! Get deliverance and get in a community that can help you. We are not called to walk with God alone. We need friends and elders to help us , pray with us and help keep us keep accountable if needed. Please find a good community 🙏🏽

Most of us, when we are young, ignore the advice of our wiser elders when they tell us how much sin hurts us and causes pain for the rest of our lives. We hear testimonies of those who lived in wicked sin, and their stories of repentance, and at least for me...I thought, "okay, that's the worst case scenario, that I'll have a great story of repentance"...Do not make that mistake! The pain is difficult to bear for those of us who have committed shameful sins! You don't want to be one of the people that lays in bed at night crying about the baby you aborted, the marriage you ruined, the lives of others that you ruined, how you ruined your health...it's far more painful than you realize, and perhaps you won't even have a chance to repent later, so do it now.

I've been watching these for a few weeks now as I could no longer feel God in my heart. I was tortured for many years and nearly died many times. I eventually have nowhere to turn but God as I had nothing left in me. My life changed dramatically and began to see beauty, have empathy, I never felt alone and began to do many amazing things I thought I would never be able to do. But then I started to think that I had cracked it and moved away from God once again. I am once again in a very dark place full of sin and resentment but I'm here because I pray to show me truth and that truth is I am nothing without God. Everything fell apart and I mean everything so it was clear what I had to do. I don't even ask God for anything just that his will be done and I'm truly sorry for my sins. Today I seen a dark shadow walk up the stairs, it had no face but I knew it looked me in the eyes. I had no fear but I could feel its powerlessness over me and truly believe that is because God is again I my heart. It probably seems far fetched seeing dark shadows but it's not the first time and it's something I wouldn't discuss with a doctor. I told someone I felt distant from God and he said, 'well if that's the case, guess who moved? It definitely wasn't God now was it'. Thank you for your channel ❤
Teenager here, and as you can Imagine I struggle a lot with porn and sexual sin In general…It’s only been 5 days since I Indulged In porn, and to most people that doesn’t sound like a lot, but God’s Holy Spirit has helped me when I’ve been tempted, I didn’t think this video was for me because I think I’m doing well…but I do need to be put In my place.
Don't give up. Many don't want to talk a lot about this but it's what most christians are struggling with and it is one of the hardest to overcome. But it's possible with God. I'm battling the same and I one day want to say I'm 1 year free. I know I'll make it

@@wilklikesmilk5371 I've been porn free 15 years now, after 30 straight years of indulging in it. Praise God! Purity is a wonderful place. Feels like I'm a virgin again, very happily. What really helped me from the word was the idols(carved images) in the Old Testament the Bible says: "have eyes and ears but they don't see or hear". Bang! I saw those images in porn in the true light. Practically speaking I got rid of T.V. for a year, watched good DVDs though, liked it so much I did another year, and had no internet for about the same time. I "plucked my eye out" so to speak, and set no wicked thing before my eyes, as King David said. Be ruthless against sin it is the rattle snake in our sleeping bags, don't negotiate with it.
