I hate repeating myself, but if you make Romans 1 about anything other than mankind's love, and the consequences, of idolatry, you shouldn't preach on those verses.
You can be LGBT and Christian no problem

Also, to add, maybe they used the pronouns ‘they/them’ because they didn’t know to which gender to refer to as.
You can not switch gender and sexuality because you must follow the God. He is creator of you and human beings. We fall apart from God’s because of Adam and Edam.
