- Lake Ohrid, Macedonia - Home to hundreds of century-old churches, Lake Ohrid is easily one of the most beautiful geographic spots in the Balkans. Its history stretches back far into time and the remnants of all the ancient religious sites continues to attract thousands of tourists every day. In this video, we just arrived in Lake Ohrid so we decided to do a quick first impressions tour of the city. Walking along its many beaches and to the incredible viewpoints, I quickly fall in love with this incredible town and I can't wait to show you more of this area of Macedonia!

Lake is not divided but occupied by Albania in 1913 on the other side macedonians live in macedonian towns and villages like Lin, Pogradec, Golo brdo, etc even the names are still macedonian after 100 years plus, the other occupied parts are aegean and pirin in greece and Bulgaria only this part is liberated in 1944
