Having never heard of Melty Blood (or even this song), this just happened to show up on my recommended feed. It sounds amazing and I am interested in this game, similar to how NieR Automata and Fire Emblem Echoes drew me in with their soundtracks.
Melty Blood got a bit messy with subsequent releases, since Act Cadenza and Actress Again were more geared as fighting games, whereas the original game and Re:Act were sort of...like a visual novel with fighting game elements. The original game in particular was not bad at all if you focused more on the visual novel aspect and what it did to sort of expand on Tsukihime. That and it had essentially two different routes: the route where you deal with Wallachia and all the shenanigans with Sion, and the weirdness of dealing with Kohaku and fighting a kaiju version of Akiha, with 6 or 7 endings split between the two extremes.
I really like the random 327k on this video. That’s better than some really good rappers get on their videos and it might not mean anything but I appreciate it
